Advanced Manufacturing Technology is an important means for manufacturingenterprises to adapt rapidly changing market and to improve their competitiveness.As a new business management method and a theory fitting with the advancedmanufacturing technology, research into supply chain get more and more attentionrecently. Agile supply chain is a supply chain network which can rapidly respond tovarious changes and uncertainty in a dynamic competitive environment, throughdynamic reconfiguration and adjustment.With Agile Supply Chain as research background, the flexible workflow isintroduced into the agile supply chain research, an agile supply chain managementframework based on flexible workflow as core technology is proposed andconstructed, a set of flexible workflow theory and method is proposed to improve theagility of supply chain, and related flexible workflow key technologies supportingagile supply chain are researched systematically in this dissertation. The mainresearch contents and contributions in the thesis are as follows:1) In order to enhance the holistic agility of supply chain, flexible workflowtechnology is adopted in agile supply chain management, and an agile supply chainmanagement framework based on multi autonomic objects flexible workflow isproposed. In this framework, the concept of virtual workflow is proposed aiming atsolving the complexity of agile supply chain management interoperability. It enablesthat the flexible workflow technology can be used in different levels in agile supplychain including its holistic model. Based on autonomic computing technology, theautonomic object is constructed which is embedded into the nodes of flexibleworkflow, furthermore, the flexible workflow architecture based on multi autonomicobjects (AO) is designed and the intelligence of flexible workflow can be realized bythe AOs and their cooperation. Finally a "holistic negotiation design, individualcoordination assembly" modeling method for agile supply chain is given.2) For the flexible workflow modeling in agile supply chain managementframework, a dynamic instance based flexible workflow modeling mode and itscorresponding modeling method for multi autonomic objects flexible workflow isproposed. Based on theory of evolution, an evolutionary flexible workflow modelingmode is designed, and a flexible workflow modeling mode based on dynamicinstance is given further on the basis of evolutionary modeling mode. Then a flexibleworkflow meta-model for the dynamic instance based modeling is constructed. Guided by the meta-model, the definition and formalized description of flexibleworkflow is given in detail in flexible workflow activity, including activity and AO,control logic, data logic, as well as hierarchical model of flexible workflow. Theextended attributes, extended methods as well as dynamic router of activity inflexible workflow model which are key elements in realizing flexibility is explainedand described with emphases. The detailed structure of flexible workflow activityand graphical expression of flexible workflow model are given finally.3) Based on the description of different form of flexible workflow change, therealization principle of flexible workflow intelligence is explained by describing AOmonitor, AO execution, AO reasoning process and so on. In order to solve theuncertainty of flexible workflow intelligence, specially represented by fuzziness, anintelligence algorithm of multi autonomic objects in flexible workflow based onextended Mamdani Fuzzy Reasoning System is proposed. The expression of AOknowledge is researched and described, the DEMATEL (Decision Making Trial andEvaluation Laboratory) method is applied to calculate the independence weight ofAO knowledge and to amend the importance weight which is got from the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) method. The AO fuzzy reasoning process is thenanalyzed in detail, the weighted fuzzy reasoning algorithm, as well as precise andfuzzy hybrid knowledge reasoning algorithm is designed. The proposed intelligencealgorithm of multi autonomic objects is demonstrated by a manufacturing process inan aviation subcontract enterprises. The multi-AOs collaboration method andreasoning algorithm are given finally.4) According to the characteristic of agile supply chain, such as cross-enterprisesand distribution, and in order to realize the flexible execution of distributed flexibleworkflow engine, a distributed flexible workflow engine architecture based on webservice is proposed, and its realization method by using SOAP and WSDL is given.By considering the characteristics of flexible workflow model and web service, theWSDL and BPEL4WS specification is extended respectively. The flexible workflowmodel description method based on extended WSDL and BPEL4WS is proposed,and it is explained by two examples in the subcontract manufacturing processrespectively. Finally flexible workflow execution algorithm and dynamic extensionalgorithm are also given and illustrated.5) Based on above theory, a flexible workflow prototype system supporting agilesupply chain is developed in Microsoft VS.Net 2005 environment, the architecture,main modules and the database design of the prototype system is described and...
