With the acceleration of the process of economic globalization and technological development, the living environment of enterprises have changed enormously, the requirements of individuality and diversification of the customers have been increased, and the competition of the market is more and more severe. As the adjustment and adaptive capacity of the enterprises facing the ever-changing and uncertainty of environment, capacity flexibility is an important guarantee for enterprises to accomplish quick reaction capability of market and obtain the maximum benefits. In the thesis, it focused on capacity flexibility and its' key technologies in discrete manufacturing process for manufacturing enterprise. The main research works are as follows:1. In order to meet the uncertain environment for the discrete manufacturing enterprise, the concept of capacity flexibility of manufacturing process is proposed, and the concept model of capacity flexibility is established and quantitative analysis of capacity flexibility is accomplished. Based on the understanding of broad product quality, the concept of broad quality during manufacturing process is investigated and developed. The influence of quality control during manufacturing process on estimation indicators of capacity flexibility is researched. The relational model between capacity flexibility and quality control is established. The relationship among capacity flexibility during manufacturing process, flexible manufacturing cell and product designed quality is analyzed. And the key technologies of capacity flexibility are determined.2. In order to achieve the overall optimization of flexible manufacturing capacity, and accomplish the smallest processing time and cost, multi-objective optimization model of parts' process specification is established. Based on the complication of optimization design of process specification, the optimization strategies of process specification are studied by means of improved genetic algorithms. And taking the multi-objective optimization of process specification of big modulus gear wheel part as the object, an application example is given.3. Aim at production characteristic of multi-varieties and small batch for some discrete manufacturing enterprises, the technique of quality preventive and control based on parts' Individual-moving range process is investigated, and the technique is improved based on the effective integrated ideas of Six Sigma and Lean-production. The integrated system of quality control is established and proved to valid by the application example in manufacturing enterprise.4. Due to the important influence of equipment flexibility on capacity flexibility during manufacturing process, the functional module of flexible sawing and milling machine center for aluminum-plastic window is divided using modularized design theory. Based on the irregular and basic modular design, the machining unit of flexible sawing and milling for aluminum-plastic trade is developed and the equipment flexibility is improved to ensure capacity flexibility during manufacturing process.5. Design for manufacturing and assembling is a comprehensive design method to consider capacity flexibility of manufacturing process adequately. Taking the development of self-driven electric cable draw machine as the object, the match design of program and power parameters is researched in order to accomplish integrated function of towing and driving by means of design theory of manufacturing-oriented and Assembly-oriented. Using the measurement of three-dimensional solid design, assemble sequence planning and interference checking, the structure and assemble design are accomplished. Based on this assembly design the quality of product design and capacity flexibility during manufacturing process are improved, the performance of manufacturing and assembling for towing machine is realized.At present some research achievements in this thesis have applied to discrete manufacturing process of enterprises successfully, the results approved that research work has important application value.
