An integrated graphic modeling method has been presented in this article. It includes: layered description of power system using object-oriented technology, designing the attributes and actions of every layer objects; administering the functions of display and operation by visibility technology; implemented the incorporate design of graphics, data base and model; created interfaces between graphics and data base. So, the graphical system can express the whole power grid information exactly and completely. A graphic supporting system of DTS has been implemented based the method of graphic modeling above mentioned, which using C++ and Visual C++6.0, based on Windows platform, adopting the technology of multi-thread and dynamic memory distribution. Due to the special request of real-time characteristic in DTS, we take into account this characteristic in designing process.
