As an important part of the research and development of small satellites, the work of test runs throughout the whole process. The test time determines the development circle of small satellites directly. The research on rapid testing methods based on the improvement of traditional testing procedures, methods and techiniques will certainly shorten the development circle and reduce cost, so as to achieve the goal of a rapid integration, testing and launching of small satellites. In accordance with projects of the National High Technology Research and Development Program (863), the rapid testing techniques of small satellites are studied deeply in this paper which mainly focuses on four problems of the rapid test, including system modeling, generation of test sequences based on the system models, processing of test data and on-line interpretation of test data. Details are as follows:To the problem of system modeling of small satellites, a modeling method based on the T-Timed Discrete Petri Nets (TTDPN) is proposed. The method is to conduct TTDPN modeling to new techniques and important modules introduced during the developing process, including the bus model of an aviation system, the buffer model and the attitude and orbit control subsystem model, and then to carry out simulation analysis to these models. To the problem of test sequences generation in the rapid test, a test sequence generation method based on the TTDPN model is proposed. First, the representation method using relation matrix of T- Timed Discrete Petri Nets is proposed, namely, place transition matrix and transition place matrix. Then, the mapping between relation matrix and T- Timed Discrete Petri Nets is proved. On this basis, test sequence generation algorithm based on TTDPN is designed and implemented. Finally, the algorithm is simulated with specific examples which further proved the validity of test sequence generation method. To the problem of test data processing, the real-time database framework of the rapid test system of small satellites is designed to resolve the problem of storing test data with a large size, complex types and tough real-time. Then, the Data Related Transaction Scheduling Mode(lDRTSM)is built, and the Abnormal Data First (ADF) real-time database transaction scheduling algorithm is designed based on DRTSM to solve the problem of the priority storage of abnormal data. Finally, the simulation experiments of proposed models and algorithms are conducted and the analysis of the simulation results is completed. To the problem of online interpretation of test data, the online test data interpretation algorithm is presented based on time series prediction. First, a rapid test system and data interpretation model are built to study the pre-processing of data and modeling method of time series. Based on these, on-line data interpretation algorithm is designed using time series data prediction. Finally, the processing result is given. Finally, combined with the rapid test method proposed in this paper, a small satellite rapid testing prototype system is built for the actual engineering requirements of a certain type of satellite. The overall framework of the system is designed, including its functional requirements, functional structure, overall framework and hardware scheme. At the same time, the Rapid Test system data flow, dynamics simulation and test scheduling machine software process are designed. Finally, with the application of this system into real usage, the correctness and validity of the proposed test sequence generation method, test data processing method and online data interpretation method are all verified.
