Some characteristics correlated with application of experimental closed colony New Zealand White (NZW) rabbit bred by Nanjing General Hospital were studied, including biology of production , and growth, blood, intestine microecology, bone density, MWC of heart, temperature change, electronbiology of heart and brain, which compared with those of Green purple Blue (GPB) and Chinese White (CW) rabbit. The results indicated that the rabbits had excellent production property, and could be used for 1.5 years, produce 6 embryoes, the death rate of infans between birth and 1 week was the highest, average increasing of weight every day was the highest between 12~16 weeks. And the lowest 0-2 weeks, length of body and ear,the highest in 2-4 weeks,the lowest in 12~16 weeks, bust and tail length, the highest in 4~8 weeks, the lowest in 12~16 weeks. Organ weight and coefficients had been studied, it were shown that all organ weight and coefficients had no differences between femail and mail rabbits except lung coefficients of NZW (P<0.05), among these species (NZW, GPB, CW), coefficients of liver, lung, pancrease, adrenal had significant differences (P<0.05), the others had no significant differences (P>.05). The blood biology had been analysed and the results indicated that hematology indexes had no significant differences in every stage between sexes (P,0.05), among different years of the rabbits, hematology indexes had no differences (P>0.05) except the MO(P<0.05); hemorheology indications had no significant differences between male and female rabbits in every stage, and so had their hemorheology among the different years (P,0.05), in hematology indexes, MO, HGB, HCT, RDW, in hemorheology indications, n p, Rls, Rms, Rhss RIE had significant differences among the species (PO.05), the others had no differences (P>0.05); Ca CHOL of biochemistry and T4 of hormone had significant differences between the sexes (P<0.05), and the other indications had no differences between the sexes (P>0.05), among the different species, TP, CREA, ALB, GGT, Ca, CHOL, AST, UREA, TRIG of biochemistry and estradiol, growth hormone, insulin, T3, T4 of blood hormone had significant differences (P<0.05), the other indexes had no differences(P>.05), blood gas, acid and base of the rabbit had no significant differences between young and old rabbits (P>0.05), and among the other year's rabbits (infant, young, adult and old), the blood gas, acid and base indexes had significant differences (P<0.05), in the young rabbits, all indexes had no differences (P>.05) except PO2(P<0.05) between the sexes; in adult rabbits, PH, PO2, SAT-O2, C-O2 had no differences, the other indexes had significant differences (P<0.05) between the sexes. Temperature qualified rate accorded with pyrogen test was 90.95%, which was obviously superior to other rabbit's, the first season (Jan-Mar), the qualifed rate was the best and up to 93.91%, the third season (Jul.-Sep.), the worst and only 81.40%, natural temperature change in the third time scope (9:40-10:40) was the least; in the cardiogram parameter the width of p wave, 0.02-0.06s; p~R interval period(0.0546+0.0094)s, QRS wave width, (0.0346 +0.0083)s, T wave width, 0.06-0.10s, and Q-T interval period, (0.1322+0.0169)s. Basic rhythm of EEG was a wave of 9~12c/s, and P wave of 16~20c/s, EEG wave range was 30~100uv, and it was sure that ECoG Could be instead by EEG, and the way of EEG was simper, more excise, and could be exerted repeatedly. Microecology of intestine had been studied and the results demonstrated that normal bacteria- group between large and small intestine, and among the different bacteria of the same intestine had significant differences (P<0.05), the anaerobe bacteria was significant decreasing in diarrhea rabbits (P<0.05), aerobe bacteria was significant increasing (P>.05).
