The research range of the subject was from Heilongjiang, Jilin, to Liaoning province. The medicine garden plants within urban environment from the range were the targets of the subject. The possibility of making use of medicinal garden plants from the urban environment is elaborated by means of the techniques of sample spot investigation, experiment analysis, and consulting materials. The compositions, application status and the useabilities in medicine of the plant species, the introduction and domestication of wild species, the development of new resources were discussed in the thesis. The main works were listed as follows:1. By investigating the city garden plants in northeast of 3 provinces. To tidy up the part of the medicinal use plant was called as a medicine garden plant. It was discussed what is position of medicine use plant in the northeast area. The result showed that there were 423 species common garden plant, exclude 128 species arbor, 137 species bush, 25 woody climber, 49 species herbage for 1 to 2 years, 75 herbage for several years in northeast of 3 provinces. There wre 215 species medicine garden plants which contained 69 species arbor, 66 species bush, 16 species woody climber, 24 species herbage for 1 or 2 years, 40 species herbage for poly-years. All medicine garden plant for green is above 50ï¼…in all garden plant in northeast of 3 provinces.2. During investigating the circumstance of making use of garden plant in the northeast of 3 provinces, samples were respectively collected such as the leaves of lilac in Heilongjiang province, rose and taraxaeum in Jilin province, the leaves of gingko in Dalian city and seeds of gingko in Dandong city of Liaoning province according to ecosystem in northeast of 3 provinces. It was discussed that the affluence of different city ecosystem to chemistry of medicine garden plant, the affluence of city ecosystem environment to medicine composition of medicine garden plant, the affluence of city ecosystem environment to contents of alcohol extracts and total ashes in medicine garden plant, the marked examination of ecosystem environment to the quality of medicine garden plant, and the influence of city ecosystem to content of heavy metal in medicine garden plant. The result shows that valid composition and alcohol extracts content of the medicine plant along streets in city was lower than that of Pharmacopoeia Chinese, but everything of medicine garden plant growing in the resident districts and in the city parks arrived at standard of Pharmacopoeia Chinese. According to the results, there were certain useablities from the medicine plants in city garden and they were selected to the medicinal resources.3. The questions of appling medicine garden plants and citing medicinal breeds were discussed for green in the northeast city of China. It was discussed respectively that significance, distribution way and obeyed rule of developing wild medicine resources and citing medicinal garden plants in the garden application for green in the city with the herb medicine garden plant. Through consulting a lot of materials, the medicinal garden plants applied for green in the northeast cities of China were summed and the items were compiled. The results can be referenced by selecting the medicinal garden plants applied for green in the northeast cities. There are 643 species medicinal garden plants applied for green in the northeast cities, excluding 87 species arbor, 33 families, 53 genus; 96 species bush, 30 families, 53 genus; 24 species woody climbers, 8 families, 13 genus; 114 species herbage for 1 or 2 years, 41 families, 87 genus; 322 species herbage for poly-years, 74 families, 187 genus in northeast of 3 provinces.
