| Forest resource is a product which developed with development of the earth's ecosystem; it is also an important component of the earth's ecosystem and is the material basis of human survival. The guarantee of quantity and quality is the basis for a variety of benefits of forest resources. In this paper, the questions related to forest resources is analyzed and researched from the perspective of forest resources monitoring, forest resources management and forest sustainable development. The purpose of this paper is to understand the content of forest resources quality deeply, to establish the evaluation index system of forest resources quality and to evaluate forest resources quality. Scientific evaluation of forest resources quality provides foundation of forest resources sustainable management and it plays a very important role in bringing maximum benefit of forest resources and guiding management of forest resources.In this paper, the status and progress of forest resources quality study were reviewed, and based on these researches, main research content is proposed. Around the issue of forest resources quality evaluation, based on the guiding ideology of sustainable development, the concept of forest resources quality is analyzed, the main impact factors of forest resources quality is discussed, and a forest resources quality evaluation index system is established which could calculate in the system and could able to fully reflect the quality of forest resources. The forest resources quality evaluation system contains four covers and six aspects of indicators, which includes forest productivity, forest structure, forest health, ecological services,.economic and social services and cultural services.Drawing on related research in the field, Composite index method; fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method; neural network method; matter-element analysis method and set-pair analysis method was proposed and achieved in forest resources quality evaluation. Inventory data of tongshan country and jiayu country in Hubei province and other forestry data were used as example in this research; five kinds of method could implicate in forest resources quality. The evaluation result of five methods obtained in line.Under the combination of the information age of forest resources management Patten, based on the theoretical study, using forestry information technology, a evaluation information system of forest resources quality was achieve. The system functions include data management of indicators, reference value management, and indicators classification management, weight calculator of indicators, Composite index method module; fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method module; neural network method module; matter-element analysis method module and set-pair analysis method module. This system provides support and necessary foundation for scientific forest resources management decision-making. |
