ABSTRACT ABSTRACT In this article,we analysised the clinical Characters and the curative effect of Tangshenkang(TSK) about 96 cases of DN Patients.Results Showed that qi-yin deficiency and stasis of blood-turbidity were the basic pathogenesis of DN.We summarized that the basic theropeutic principle of DN was supplementing qi, nourishing yin,warming yang,tonifying the kidney,removing blood stasis and resolving turbidity.Guided by the rule,We gained satisfied curative effect to treat DN With TSK.The total effective rate was 85 .7%.In order to study the functional mechanism of TSK, We reconstructed successfully experimental animal medol of DN.Secondly,We determined ET-1 and IL-13 level in plasma and Urine with radioimmunoassay,and determined the expression of ET-1 and IL-13mRNA in the renal tIssues with irnmunohistochemical and situ.hybridizational method.The aim was to clear about the ET- I and IL- 13 expression level on the condition of DN, as well as the influence of TSK to ET- 1 and IL- 13, Meantime,we carried out the examins to the morphology of kidney.Results showed: I .The animal medol of DN is sucessful.2.TSK could lower blood glucose, improve insulin resistance and renal hymodynamics, control nepbrauxe and glomerular sclerosis. 3 .TSK could decrease ET- 1 expression level, correct elevated renal plasma flow and glomerular filtrating rate, decrease urinary protein and improve the renal function to prevent and treat DN. 4.The level of Urinary IL-13 was higher than normal, and the expression of IL- 13 mRNA increased in the epithelial tissue of renal tubules on the condition of DN.It showed IL-13 had relation to the injure of renal tubules.TSK could reduce the expression of Urinary IL-13 and IL-13mRNA, improve the renal function,and decrease the injure of kidney.All the results provided scientific basis for revealing the functional mechanism of TSK, promoting its popularization and application in the clinical practice.
