The Experimantal Study On Treatment Of Parkinson's Disease Rat Models With Puncture Of Subthalamic Necleus

This research successfully duplicates the model of PD in one side of pure Wister mice's body by injecting 6-OHDA into CPU. We inserted the needle into the animal's STN with the help of The Rat Brain in Stereotaxic coordinates, lining the electro acupuncture positive pole with the needle buried in STN ,lining the negative pole with the needle inserted in back. The rotation rate Was measure as an index of behavior recovery after treatment of acupuncture.and checked out the varieties of data about destroying the SN or CPU after the rat were killed. The research showed as follows. The first : The rotation rate of PD rat model is sharply reduced after the treatment. The second: We found out a bit of more nerve-cells less the losing activity cells and less the positive dying-cells than the controls in SN and CPU examination of pathology. (P<0. 05). Another result is that there were sigificance difference in expressing TH masculine cells as the electro acupuncture groups compared with the controls (P<0. 05). The third :The contenttration of DA HVA DOPAC in PD rat's CPU is more markedly increased before treatment than the controls' .The forth:The activity of MDA and NOS decreased in treatment groups (P<0. 01), but the concentration of GSH-Px the activity of GSH-Px markedly increased(P<0. 01). It indicates that the electro acupuncture treatment can regulate imbalance of oxygen free redical in the PD rat's brain and keep the body from injuring of excessive activating oxygen and deprive the injuring of DA-nerve .The fifth: After treatment the Glu is lower (P<0.01), so is ASP (P<0.05). It turned out the treatment can help the DA-nerve improve its resistance after stimulating the STN by electricity that can make EAA less.We draw a conclusion that inserte the needle into the STN of PD models achieves a good success which has a good therapatic and has many improving data . On such researchwe made a good example. Before us, there was an old concept that "As soon as the needle is inserted into the brain, the man will die "accordin-g the TCM theory. But now we can cancel it . So we made a practical and theoretical base on the clinical treatment, which cures the PD.
