Object: To find the character of hypertension and Syndrouce in traditional chinese medicine throwgh relationship between syndrome differentiation typy and insulin resistance; to investigate the effect of TCM and possible mechanism to essential hypertension with insulin resistance; to find an effective traditional chinese medicine way to treat essential hypertension resistance.Method:1 One hundred and twenty hypertnsion patients were classified into four groups according to syridrome diffeientiation typy the liver - Fire exuberant type, the phlegm - Dampness abundant type, the Yin -Deficiency and Yang - Excess type and the both Yin - Yang Deficiency type. At the same time, there were 30 cases were determined as nomal group. Lever of blood pressure(BPXbody mass index ^ absolute horizontal classification of cardiovascular danger factors. To find the character of hypertension andsyndrome in traditional chinese medicine through relationship between syndrome differentiation typing and insulin resistance.2 Sixty hypertension patients with insulin resistance who were considered as Yin deficiency and Yang - Excess type were treated by Si Tai tablet which had nourishing Yin and suppressing liver, activiating blood and eleminating stasis, in company to thirty patients trented with Captopril, Which were compared to 30 healthy subjects.3 Rat model with syndrome of insulin resistance (IR) which were feed on high - sugar - salt diet, were randomly divided into the model control group^he treated group with Si Tai tablet and the treated group with capitopril, then the variations of lever of blood pressures, insulin sensitivity index ( ISI) ^ Erythrocyte insulin receptor t - PA PI - 1N Collagencontent and concentration of left ventricular N before and after treatment were determinted and compared with the normal group (10 healthy subjects).Results:1 There were chief mild risk and high risk in every type of hypertension. The serum insulin resistance in hypertension were significantly than that of control group. The following order which was by amount of insulin resistance was: The abundant phlegm - dampness type exuberant Liver - Fire type both Yin - Yang deficiency type Yin deficiency and Yang-Excess type. The Excess syndrome was severe and deficiency syndrome was mild, the abundant phlegm - dampress type was the most severe in the excess syndrome:The activity of ATPase in every type of essential hypertension was significantly lower than that of controlgroup.2 The total effective rate of lowing the lever of blood pressure was 80 % , which has not significant difference in comparied with capitopril. the ISKEH^activity of Na+ - K+ - ATPase and Ca+ + - ATPase were increased and the blood rheology,the activities of PAI - 1 were lower. It' s possible netobic that it could decrease Insulin resistance and increase ISI,and improve Blood stasis Pathology strange by induce hemorheology, increasing Fibrinolysis activity.3 The lever of blood pressure of experimental hypertension rate was low fasting plasma glucose (FPGX fasting insulin (FINS) was induce as ISKEIR was increased after treatment with Si Tai tablet. It' suggents that SiTai can decrease the blood pressure of hypertension for it can improve IR and Blood stasis pathology, it also can decrease collagen content and concentration of left ventricular.Conclusion; Insulin resistance is one of the pathological basis for syndrome differentiation typing in hypertension. Si Tai tablet is not only effective to hypertension with IR, but also can attenuate left ventricular hypertrophy.
