The thesis lucubrate deeply the dizziness due to wind pathogen (essential hypertension, EH) and distension related to the heart caused by dizziness due to wind pathogen (hypertension left ventricular hypertophy, LVH) from two aspects of theoretical researching and animal experiment.There was no concept of "blood pressue" in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). To adapt to the needs of medical science, teaching and researching, and to improve the development of TCM, we suggested in the thesis to adopt the concept of "blood pressue" in TCM to formate it's own theory which infers that the pressue caused by the blood to the vessel which was adapted when the heart-qi pushing the blood circulating in the vessel.After comprision and anylysis, we concluded as below: Although there was relationship between "dizziness" and "EH", they also had substancial difference in concepts. As the TCM disease name of EH, the elevation of blood pressue should be regarded the main dignosisfroof of dizziness due to wind pathogen. Combining the mordern research fruits we verified that the pathogenic region of dizziness due to wind pathogen was blood vessel, the pathogenic factor was the abnormality of innateness improper diet and emotion, the function weakness of zang and fu in eldess and environmental factor etc. The pathogenesis origin was the irregulation of zang and fu, qi and blood, Yin and Yang, superficially was intefered to the blood vessel by wind, fire, sputum and stasis. According to this we infered that the symtoms and signs diagnosis of dizziness due to wind should be the mode of the combination of differentiation of diseases and differentiation of symtoms and signs. The fundamental treatment rule should be adjusting zang and fu, qi and blood, Yin and Yang and dredging the blood vessel.As the same time, this thesis infered that dizziness due to wind pathogen and distension related to the heart could be the TCM disease name of EH left ventricular hypertophy. The pathogenic region were blood vess el and heart and the main pathogenesis was accumulation of sputum, lipid and turbid, urine, blood stasis, Sluggishness of blood circulation, finaliy caused the heart broaden.The result of animal experiment showed that ZishengQingYang (ZSQY) Tablet could not only warmly lower the blood press of spontaneous hrpertensive rat (SHR), but also reversed LVH and the ultratructure injury of cardiac muscle, inhibited the production of plaszma Endothelin (ET), lowered Angiotesin II and aldosterone level. The results also showed that medium dose of ZSQY tablet had the better curative effects in different doses.After the research, the congnition of TCM to dizziness due to wind pathogen was completed step by step and the theoiy content was abundant. This helped to improve the TCM prevention and cure research to EH, also to improve hman health level. At the same time, ZSQY tablet had the function of soothiag the liver, nouring Yin and Checking exuberance of Yang, treating heart trough liver. ZSQY tablet poses the application foreground of preventing and curing dizzness due to wind pathogen.
