The main factors which played important roles in the mechanism in the pathogenesis and development of blood deficiency induced by both factors were studied, and the changes which happened on blood deficient animal model were investigated from whole animal, tissue, cell and molecule levels. The evaluate standard of blood deficient animal model were established.The therapeutic mechanism on blood deficient animal model of Siwutang and its sixteen analytic prescriptions was observed, the approach and mechanism on enriching blood of Siwutang was systematically analyzed, the ability of colony-forming unit of bone marrow cells and the number of circulating blood cells have been observed, the molecule mechanism of Paeoniae on enriching blood was investigated by gene chip, materially foundation and active constituents of Siwutang were discovered by activity directed separation. In the results of genomic and proteomics of Siwutang, the injury could be alleviated by regulating hematopoietic factors level.The results of this research could be summarized as the following:1.The characters of hematopoietic cells and molecule foundation in the pathogenesis and development of blood deficiency induced by radiation and cyclophosphamide were systematically revealed, the evaluate standard of blood deficiency was established for other related research.2.The compatible principle, action mechanism and active constituents were elucidated detailed and rationally using modern technique.3. The modern research method in the research on symptom combined with formulas was set up.4.The manufacture of enriching blood formulas developed greatly.
