A review of neurodermatitis (lichen simplex chronicus, psoriasis vulgaris) was done to understand, the underlying mechanism of the disease, how to prevent it, and the therapies used in clinical practice. A clinical method, "Wu Zang Shu" pinpricking with cupping has been studied to treat neurodermatitis (without the use of another therapy (i.e. topical or internal medicine)) and was proven to be effective. Clinical research on 122 patients with neurodermatitis was undertaken. There were 68 patients in the treatment group and 54 patients in the control group. A comparison between the two groups, using the PASI method, was done. The work objectively confirmed the effectiveness of the therapeutic method in treating neurodermatitis. ELISA, RIA and serum testing of TNF-α, IL-2, IL-2R, IL-6, sICAM-Ⅰ, rhG-CSF, and endothlin were used to understand the mechanism of the therapy of the Wu Zang Shu pinpricking and cupping. The results show that: 1.) The method was an effective treatment when compared to the control group with an efficacy rate of 94.1%. Clinical practice confirmed that the method improves the erythema and infiltration scales, relieving the degree and area of the lesion. It also showed that the method clears heat in the blood, clear the channels, clears the superficial and interior, and regulates visceral Yin and Yang. 2.) This method controls lichenification in the epidermis. Relieves lichenification, improves dermis nipple edema, and vasodilatation by relieving the WBC infiltration and inflammation reactions. 3.) The level of TNF-α in the disease treatment group's serum. This method can lower the TNF-α and relieve the degree of lesion and monocyte infiltration. 4.) The neurodermatitis treatment group serum IL-2 concentration reduced after treatment. 5.) This method reduces the serum IL-2R of the treatment whose level of IL-2R has risen. 6.) This method can lower the serum IL-6 of the neurodermatitis patients' whose level of IL-6 has risen. 7.) This method can lower the serum G-SCF of the neurodermatitis patients whose level of G-SCF has risen. 8.) This method can reduce the level of sICM- I and adjust the intercellular adhesion and inflammation reaction. 9.) This method can also reduce the serum ET of neurodermatitis patients whose level of ET has risen, improving the skin's microcirculation. 10) the research observed the effect on the TNF-α, IL-2, IL-2R, IL-6, sICAM- I , rhG-CSF, ET in the neurodermatitis patients' blood by Wu Zang Shu pinpricking with cupping method ,It shows that the method can adjust the immunication relieving the inflammation reaction improving the skin's microcirculation relieving the degree of...
