Experimental Research Of Anti-cancer Effects And Related Mechanism Of Compound Traditional Chinese Medicine Of Qian Kun Ning (乾坤宁)

Compound traditional Chinese medicine of Qian Kun Ning(QKN) is bases on the long-term proved effective traditional Chinese medicine prescription for cancer.It has the actions of Supporting Vital Qi and Eliminating Evils.By means of cDNA microarray,cell culture,flow cytometry,immunohistochemistry,the drug-containing sera tests,we have observed that the inhibitive effects of QKN on tumor cell straits of H₂₂, Sarcoma₁₈₀, Melanin tumour-B16,Lewis lung carcinoma,SMMC-7721, MCF-7,etc. respectively.The experimental study was expected to explain what the pharmacological effects and related anti-cancer mechanism of QKN are.RESULTS:Pharmacological effect study: 1. In vitro experiments,QKN obviously exhibits repressive effects for several types of tumor cell straits,including H₂₂, Melanin tumour-B₁₆ and Lewis lung carcinoma;it also can inhibit the diversion of Lewis lung carcinoma;it has no repressive effects for Sarcoma₁₈₀. In vivol experiements,QKN exihibits obvious repressive effects for several types of tumor cell straits such as SMMC-7721,MCF-7,but drug-containing sera can't exhibit repressive effects for SMMC-7721.2. QKN obviously enhances weight of mice with tumor,advances their life quality;it exhibits no toxicitical effects on spleen and thymus gland;it restores cell immunological abilities.3. QKN exhibits no effect-strenthen function when used with 5-FU;but it can reverse the decline of life quality caused by 5-FU.
