The diagnostic techniques of nuclear cardiology have high value in assessment of coronary artery disease (CAD). There are two studies included in this research: Part one, the ability of detecting myocardial hypoxia, low flow and ischemia with two new hypoxia-avid tissue imaging agents; Part two, study on gated myocardial perfusion tomography in assessment of myocardial perfusion and function in detecting CAD.Part oneThe ability of detection of myocardial hypoxia, low flow and ischemia with two new hypoxia-avid tissue imaging agentsHypoxic-avid myocardial imaging agents have the potential in detectionof myocyte in hypoxic but viable, for example, the ischemic and hibernatingmyocardium. It has been demonstrated that 99mTc-PnAO and 99mTc-HL91 canaccumulate in hypoxic tissues in abroad. However, no report about it in home. The ability of detection of hypoxia, low flow andischemia with 99mTc-PnA0Material and methods: A, Twenty-five SD rats were divided into five groups, injected with 99mTc-PnAO 100μCi intravenously and sacrificed after the injection 1, 5, 15, 30 and 60 minutes. The target, tissues removed,...
