Laryngeal carcinoma is one of the most common malignant tumors in head and neck, especially in the north of China Surgery and radiotherapy is principal fashion in treatment of laryngeal carcinoma Although the plan and technique of treatment have been improved, some of patients died of failure of treatment In order to evaluate the clinical significance of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) expression in laryngeal carcinoma, immunohistochemical staining(SP) was used to analyze MVC and VEGF expression in tumor tissue specimens from 87 patients with laryngeal carcinoma and 45 surgical margin tissues. In additation. To evaluate E1A gene increase the sensitivity to chemotherapy and radiotherapy in the laryngeal carcinoma, we transfected Hep2 cell with DNA- lipid complexes containing the 13s or 12s E1A region. The results are noted below:1. Immune response of VEGF was localized to the cytoplasm of tumor cells, positive rate was 77%.2. In laryngeal carcinoma, the mean MVC in tumor tissues was obviously higher than that in surgical margian tissues(p<0.01). 3. In laryngeal carcinoma, The expression of VEGF was positivly correlated with MVC(p<0.01).4. In laryngeal carcinoma, The expression of VEGF was markedly correlated...
