A Study Of Chinese Poetic Forms

This paper, in the base of the Chinese poetries from pre-Qin to Tangdynasties, from100forms of Ci,1209sentences and76sentence-combinationsselected from30696poetries of Ci, researches the fundamental formal rules of Ciand Chinese poetries. The sresearch includes two dimensions: one islongitudinal,about three levels comprising of sentence type, sentence-combinationtype and the macro poetic constitute;the other is horizontal, about two categoriescomprising of “rhythm” and "Ping-Ze". The following is the research results.1. To seek out the basic sentense formula of Chinese classical poetry:A one-word-bean+N x (2-word-section)+A three-word-tail (N=0~3)2.To research out5kinds of regulations on sentence combination in Chinesepoetries: Jie-combination,Die-combination,Lin-combination,Ling-combination andOu-Ji-combination. To Point out that the five laws dominated the constitute of90%of the sentence in Ci. Among them, the Jie-combination, Lin-combination, and theOu-Ji-combination,as important laws, is first proposed; And especially theJie-combination gets deeply studied, which orderly explains the academic structureof SaoTi, SI-LIU and more than half of Ci; The study of Ling-combination is alsomore widely and deeply than beorfe.3.Summarizing the sructure of Chinese poetries with the rule ofDie-combination; To Find the new rule of Chinese poetry: Jie-combination;Andto point out that65%of ci are under the control of Jie-combination. And findthat Jie-combination also controls the structure of SAOTI and SI-LIU.4. bY the1500-year-history of the metonymy idea, the paper proves that the"bamboo-section-law" is the most widespreaded and perfect rules for the classicalpoetry sentences,and that SONG-CI are under the control of the "bamboo-section-law".5. The research suggests that different kinds of sentense-combination arecontrolled by different rules and forms of “Ping-Ze”.6. To find out the important stylistic rule on "Ping-Ze"of SongCi：“Die-shi-lv”，ncluding “Ping-Ping ruel” and “ping-ze-ruel”.
