The dissertation explores the relationship between the civic education and the reconstruction of minorities’identity series in political perspective in the process of the state construction. The article focuses on the tensions between the Civic Education and the minorities identity Series, on the basis of general investigation of the minorities identity Series changes in different periods, takes close eyes on the process of forms of National identity in Southwest minorities, and attempts to prove its theoretic logic through historical and Practical analysis.This dissertationvelops on the premise that there are different identities series in any political system. In traditional Empire’s political system, the minorities form the identity Series compatible with the social structure. In modern society, the condition has changed, and minorities identity Series comes into the state of tension. In order to ease the tense, we should supply new knowledge and strength education training by civic education. The theoretical argument is on the survey the minorities’National identity in the southwest. The dissertation is consists of nine parts.In the preface introduces the significance of the discussion and the theoretical assumption.Includes the research of reviews inland and aboard,the basic structure,the core concepts, and the reasons choose the national identity of minority in the southwest as example. What’s more, points out the shortcomings of the research.ChapterⅠintroduces the theoretical sources and the structure classification of minority’s identity Series, and take the relations of minority in the southwest as example.ChapterⅡfocuses on the changes in different periods of minorities’identity Series. Individual rights, self-interest and the value of diversity cause the tensions of the minorities’ identity Series after Reform and Opening up.ChapterⅢillustrate in theory the state can ease tensions by the supply of knowledge, and the most effective and direct way is Civic Education. And in this process, national identity form its character and influence the reconstruction of minorities’ identity Series.ChapterⅣprincipally focuses on the importance of culture in minority, and the rise of minorities’cultural rights. Emphasis on that minorities’civic Education should respond positive to the demand, and take the guarding of cultural rights of minority in the whole process of civic education.ChapterⅤdiscusses the change of types and the series of minority identity after the Reform and Opening-up. Therefore, civic education should change by the content and approaches to enhance their national identity, and optimization the minorities identity Series.ChapterⅥtakes research on the influence of change of value system of ethnic groups in southwest, lead to the change of the minorities identity Series. The civic education can refine of the modern civic values and supply the resources positively. The process helps minorities realized the value of citizenship, promote the growth of the minorities as citizen’s body, balance tensions and achieve reconstruction of the minorities identity Series.ChapterⅦconstructs the process of civic education with Chinese characteristics. It must take full account of local knowledge of the characteristics of minority, and considering the multi-ethnic consultation and social self-management. In the premise, civic education continue to optimize the structure of the minorities identity Series, it should also depends on the transformation of modern governance structures.In conclusion clarifies the logical relations between Civic Education, National identity and civil state. And give the conclusion of this research:In China, establishment of civil state is the crux to ease tensions in the minorities’identity Series, and the right way to build Multinational state in future.
