| To construct the citizens’ national recognition is an important choice of modern nation-states. Political power, the foundation of one state to exist and develop, is the core element of normal operation at the same time. The extent of recognition or support to such power from people, namely the legitimate source of political power, determines the stability and development condition of state regime system. The legitimacy of political power, reflected in the aspect of recognition on the present regime system from citizens of one nation, is what we call citizens’ political recognition. As an existing form of political common community for one state, citizen’s political recognition eventually falls on the national recognition. The further research and thinking on the construction of national recognition, as well as an necessary and key link of national construction, is also the important goal of national development.When we are thinking about how to construct national recognition, we find that there are many influential factors in the process of its construction. During them, the major factor is national citizens, the most basic unit of national constitution. Because, for each specific citizen, thought and behavior of him will have an effect on his organization or group. The role played by citizens in political life, the connecting way between citizens and state, and relations of rights and obligations between citizens, which constitute the basic content of citizenship. Based on the understanding and comprehension of these contents of citizenship, realizing the construction of national recognition in the process of adjusting civil rights and obligations is the main content of this thesis, and the fruit of thinking about the construction of our national recognition. To analyze and construct our national recognition from the angle of citizenship is not only a response to the development of a multiethnic country, but also an arrangement and combination of multi-citizen’s recognition in multiethnic countries under the background of globalization. For the diversity and complexity of ethnic composition, it is hard and complicated to construct our national recognition in such a multiethnic country like China.The ethnic composition reality makes the research of national recognition become an inevitable topic when making research on country’s recognition. So, it is difficult to become the highest recognition in various of citizen’s recognitions, to plan as a whole, and coordinate the citizen’s other recognitions. Therefore, the national recognition construction in our country is to deal with the relationship between citizens and state, coordinate the citizen’s ethnic identity and national recognition to let both of them highly unified, and guide the citizens’ ethnic identity to national recognition, promoting the political stability and national development of our country. Of course, the precondition of achieving this goal is to safeguard the unity of citizen’s rights and obligations, namely solve of the problem of citizen’s recognition. Because the citizenship is the premise of national recognition, so national recognition is constructed and realized on the basis of achievement of citizenship. So it is particularly necessary to analyze the construction of national recognition in our country from the angle of citizenship.This thesis is based on the analysis of the implementation degree of citizen’s identity and present condition of national recognition and pursuits the establishment and achievement of citizenship from the dynamic balance relationship of civil rights and obligations, to promote the construction of national recognition in our country, and put forward own opinion about the direction of the construction of national recognition. At the same time, I hope that it can provide new research angle of view and theoretical guidance for the construction of national recognition in our country, and offer beneficial reference and lessen to realize the grand goal of national revival in China. |
