With the development of economic globalization, industrial clusters greatly boost regional economy via agglomeration effect and become a symbol of regional economy level and national competence. In the Middle and Late1980s, there was a soar of industrial clusters in China. Industrial clusters arise in many provinces, especially in the Yangtze River Delta Area, the Pearl River Delta Area and the Bohai Rim Area of China, in which more than50%of the industrial production are sourced from industrial clusters. Practical experiences have proved the fact that industrial clusters bring frequent entrepreneurial activities; moreover, industrial clusters incubate entrepreneurs by providing abundant entrepreneurial resources and acceptable entrepreneurial environment while creating amass fortunes. Industrial clusters with a flow of entrepreneurs appear general trend of good development and evolution of economy. Worldwide, many countries try to boost industrial clusters and entrepreneurs development by means of government policy. Researches on the interactive mechanism between industrial clusters and entrepreneurs from perspective of agglomeration effect would shed light on theoretical value and practical significance.Combined theoretical study with empirical study, combined qualitative study with quantitative study, this thesis applies literature studies, depth interviews, questionnaires, case studies and comparative studies to explore structure model of industrial clusters’ agglomeration effect, how industrial clusters incubate entrepreneurs, interaction between entrepreneurs and industrial clusters evolution, and sustainable interaction of industrial clusters and entrepreneurs.Firstly, based on the literature review and corresponding interview study, this thesis concludes theories of external economic theory, economies of agglomeration theory, growth pole theory, new economic geography and competition theory, and constructs the structure model of agglomeration effect. Then this thesis utilizes field research and depth interviews to design the questionnaire of agglomeration effect. exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis are used to explore and verify the structure of industrial clusters’ agglomeration effect. In addition, the questionnaire of industrial clusters’ agglomeration effect has good reliability and validity.Secondly, this thesis combines agglomeration effect theory, entrepreneurial event theory, and the planned behavior theory, and proposes a theoretical model, which hypothesizes the relationship between agglomeration effect and entrepreneurial intention. The structural equation modeling is applied to verify and revise the hypotheses and theoretical models. This section reveals effective pathway how agglomeration effect of industrial clusters impacts entrepreneurial intention and thus explains the mechanism how industrial clusters incubate entrepreneurs.Thirdly, based on literatures review, this thesis focuses on the interactive relationship between industrial clusters evolution and entrepreneurs. By applying the multi-case study method, this thesis selects traditional industrial clusters and high-tech industrial clusters as research cases. According to the standard of case study, this thesis collects a large amount of first-hand data and secondary data. Then this thesis uses time series analysis, pattern match analysis and cross-case analysis to demonstrate the interactive relationship between industrial clusters evolution and entrepreneurs, which provides theoretical basis and evidence for constructing interactive model of industrial clusters and entrepreneurs. At last, this thesis concludes structure model of industrial clusters’agglomeration effect, how industrial clusters incubate entrepreneurs, interaction between entrepreneurs and industrial clusters evolution, thereby, induces and constructs interactive model of industrial clusters and entrepreneurs. On account of feedback regulation loops between industrial clusters and entrepreneurs, this section proposes suggestions for sustainable interaction between industrial clusters and entrepreneurs from the aspects of government, industrial clusters and entrepreneurs. This thesis aims to uncover the interactive mechanism between industrial clusters and entrepreneurs from perspective of agglomeration effect, explore sustainable development pathways for industrial clusters and entrepreneurs. The thesis might enhance industrial clusters theory and entrepreneurship theory, furthermore, provide theories for regional economy, sustainable interaction between industrial clusters and entrepreneurs, how to ease regional employment pressure, how to reconstruct economy or update industrial structure and offer entrepreneurs who crave out in industrial clusters more references to make decisions.
