Abstract:Mining industry is the basic industry of national economy, which provides important material guarantee for realizing economic and social sustainable development in China. Eastern area of Guizhou is rich in mineral resources, but it has serious waste of resources and environmental damage. Therefore, it is of important significance for the underdeveloped and under-exploited eastern area of Guizhou to solve the contradictions between resource development and environment protection, resources supply and economic development, developer vein mining based on artery mining, to make rational development and utilization of mineral resources, to realize the sustainable development.The research on the integration of vein mining and artery mining coordinated and sustainable development is a complicated topic which includes many aspects and is multidisciplinary. With the guidance of circular economy theory and complexity science theory, the mineral economy sustainable development was studied by applying principles and methods of geo-science, industrial economics, industrial ecology and environmental science in this paper. Through the reference and integration of theories and methods between different disciplines, the reasonable and feasible research results were. obtained, which can guide the sustainable development of regional mining economy.Firstly, the eastern area of Guizhou is taken as the study area, and its metallogenic geological conditions are analyzed from the aspects of the tectonic structure, stratum, rock, deep fracture, magmatic activity, etc. The mineral deposits of the study are counted, and then their genesis of mineral, orebody characteristics, ore and mineral characteristics, ore grades are analyzed. On the basis of knowledge about mineral resources characteristics and dominant mineral resources in the study area, the development of its various mineral resource-based industries is investigated, which exposes the advantages and the existing problem in mining industry development. The research results above lay the foundation for the study and practice of effective protection and rational use of mineral resources and coordinated and sustainable development of mining industry to the study area. Secondly, the methodology system about the integration of vein mining and artery mining development is researched. Its development system is a complicated and open system based on complexity science. Through analysis of elements, essential characteristics, targets, the research of methodology and specific research methods of the integration of the vein mining and artery mining coordinated and sustainable development are proposed.Thirdly, the paradigm of the integration of vein mining and artery mining sustainable development is confirmed as complexity science. Its theory is studied and its meaning is dug deep, and then self-organization theory, overall emergence theory and complex adaptive system theory are used to analyze the sustainable development system. The analysis expands the research scope, and is a support in theory.Fourthly, cases about the integration of vein mining and artery mining sustainable development are studied at three levels, namely Small cycle in enterprise, medium cycle in industrial park and large cycle in industrial belt. Based on benefit analysis, the development practices of different objects are synthetically discussed and researched, to explore the appropriate way to mineral industry sustainable development in the eastern area of Guizhou.Finally, system analysis is processed for the goal of realizing the sustainable development system of the integration of vein mining and artery mining. Then strategic targets and routes are confirmed by synthesizing advantages and disadvantages, opportunities and threats. With the guidance of complexity science, the safeguard measures are proposed for the sustainable development system of the integration of vein mining and artery mining.In this paper, firstly, the mineral resources endowments in the eastern of Guizhou and its industry developments are analyzed. Secondly, based on the adequate research about the methodology for the sustainable development of the integration of vein mining and artery mining, its paradigm is confirmed as complexity science by contrasting reductionism and holism. Thirdly, self-organization theory, overall emergence theory and complex adaptive system theory are used to analyze the development system. Lastly, with development practices in the study area, the empirical analysis and research are processed at three levels, including the enterprise, industrial park and t industrial belt.The results show that, it is the right way to achieving the sustainable development of regional mining only if vein mining development is taken on the basis of developing artery mining and with the guidance of complexity science. There are twenty three figures,eighteen tables, one hundred and forty seven references in the paper.
