Research On The Sustainable Development Of Mining Industry In Huayuan

Mineral resources, which are one of the non-renewable resources, play a quiteimportant role in the national economy. And with the mine and process of mineralresources, mining economy is becoming more and more prosperous. However, with thefurther exploitation, environmental and ecological problems have become increasinglyprominent. At present, our country is in the peak of resources consumption, although awell mineral product system provides an important guarantee for China’s economicdevelopment, due to the great interests, some areas are still do a large number of miningmineral resources, which causes the phenomena(such as serious waste of mineralresources, low rate of recovery of resources, the serious destruction of the ecologicalenvironment with the immature situation)are incompatible with sustainabledevelopment.As we know, Huayuan is one of the most mineral resources county, and it is alsothe gathering area of Ethnic enclaves. And mining economy occupies an importantposition in the economy of Huayuan County, so to study the sustainable development ofmining industry in Huayuan County is of great significance for the realization ofresources, environmental, economic and social development in Huayuan.Based on the theory, this paper doses a detailed analysis of the mining researchresults at home and aboroad and state the significance of sustainable development.Besides, on this basis, according to the characteristics of Huanyuan mining development,this paper analyzes the difficulties which Huayuan is facing and why it causes. Firstly,this paper does a comprehensive and systematic analysis of the reserves and thecharacteristics of mineral resources in Huayuan County, discussing the relationshipbetween the sustainable development of mining industry in economic and socialdevelopment, agricultural development and environmental protection in HuayuanCounty, and studying the situation of sustainable development in it, thus, to put forwardthe main problems and reasons when facing the sustainable development of miningSecondly, according to the evaluation of the sustainable development of mining industryin Huayuan County, this paper constructs the regression model from15miningenterprises in Huanyuan as the research samples by the method of empirical research toevaluate the sustainable development level in Huayuan. And states the sustainabledevelopment of Huayuan County mining is in a weak level. In addition, this paper putsforward the main problems and reasons when facing the sustainable development ofmining. Last but not least, on the basis of the results in the analysis, this paper also putsforward some conutermeasures to improve mining industry’s sustainable development:to expanse the mineral exploration, and increase the reserve resources, to promote theformation of large mineral group by the government, to develop the circular economymode relying on technology, to innovate the mining investment, and pay attention to the introduction and training of qualified personnel, to strengthen the protection ofmining environment, and accelerate the sustainable development.In this paper, using theoretical analysis, literature research, comparative analysis,combining theory with practice and other methods, the mining industry in HuayuanCounty were analyzed and discussed in detail the method system, from books, theInternet, field research to collect data. The innovation of this paper is to increase thestudy on the sustainable development of mining industry in ethnic minority areas basedon the existing research, and this is certain guiding significance by the establishment ofindex system of the sustainable development of mining industry in Huayuan County. Ingeneral, the purpose of this study is basically achieved, however, the sustainabledevelopment of mining industry in Huayuan County is the research field of strongapplicability, therefore, it is more worthy of further attention and study by experts andscholars.
