Facing the complex and volatile market environment, the competition amongenterprises has been gradually transformed into the competition between supplychains. In this situation, those enterprises providing shipping logistics service mustchange their business ideas and management style to form new competitiveadvantage. Construction of service supply chain is a way to deal with this newsituation, and it is also the focus of attention and the hot topic of research at present.Service supply chain which aims at achieving the overall optimization is a kind ofadvanced management mode. In the chain, service providers provide agency, transport, handling, storage and other functional service effectively integrated byservice integrators will offer service to customers together. The ultimate purpose ofsupply chain is the pursuit of synergy in supply chain. For that reason, a clear graspof the formation and evolution mechanism, business collaboration and resourceco-allocation in the supply chain can provide theoretical guidance for its constructionand actual operation and promote the formation of synergistic effect. Currently, research on service supply chain is not systematic. As an important branch of servicesupply chain in logistics industry, shipping logistics service supply chain’stheoretical research is still in the exploratory stage and its research system remains tobe improved. Therefore, this dissertation based on the system theory, the synergytheory and the complex adaptive system(CAS) theory, combined with the systemoptimization theory, technology and method, carries out research into collaborativeoptimization of shipping logistics service supply chain in a systematic perspective. At first, the dissertation begins with the concept of shipping logistics servicesupply chain and discussing its composition and characteristics which prepares thegroud for the further study. Then, the internal and external motivation factors andtheir influence mechanism between each other are analyzed. It is clear that shippinglogistics service supply chain collaboration is the result of interactions among thoseinternal and external factors. On this basis, multi-agent model is constructed whosesimulation results are used to analyze the formation mechanism of supply chaincollaboration. Shipping logistics service supply chain is a dissipative structure system with self-organizing feature. So combined with Dissipative Structure Theoryand Synergy Theory, system state equations are used to illustrate changes of systemstate. Based on those equations, the system structure’s stability variation driven bythe influence factors and the system’s self-organizing evolution under the orderparameter’s dominant role are studied. The results provide a theoretical support tocomprehend the collaborative nature of shipping logistics service supply chain.Secondly, it is necessary to coordinate business processes among thoseenterprises in the service supply chain to provide better integrated service for thecustomers. Shipping logistics service supply chain includes shipping companies, portcompanies, the third party logistics (TPL) companies and other service companies.Business process collaboration among these enterprises is actually inter-organizationcollaboration which is the highest level of business process collaboration. To this end,the dissertation takes container export business as an illustration, a Petri net model isestablished according to business contacts among service providers. Then, thecollaborative framework of inter-organization business processes is built. Andenterprises’ internal business processes are simplified by using stochastic Petri netequivalent algorithm which not only can ensue the privacy of enterprises’ internalbusiness processes but also can facilitate the analysis and optimization of the overallbusiness process. At last the genetic algorithm coding based on DSM matrix is usedto optimize the business processes between organizations. In addition, thedissertation gives a sketch of information sharing’s role in the course of businessprocess collaboration. Finally, the essence of supply chain collaboration is the intensive utilization ofthe supply chain resources. Based on analysis of the relationship between resources, capabilities and activities, the dissertation clarifies the shipping logistics servicesupply chain resources, so as to determine the scope of study on resourcesco-allocation that is resource co-allocation among node enterprises in supply chain. Then, the research on resources co-allocation of supply chain is carried out fromhorizontal and vertical aspects. For the problem of resources co-allocation amonghorizontal enterprises in supply chain, the optimization model is established at firstto coordinate enterprises’ service capacities. Then the DEA resources allocationmodel is established based on improving the overall utilization efficiency of supply chain resources, to coordinate those variable narrow resources among horizontalenterprises, to determine the allocation of enterprises’ narrow resources matchingtheir service capacities. For the problem of resources co-allocation among verticalenterprises in supply chain, the optimization model is also established to determineservice capacities each vertical enterprise need provide. Then the complementarymatch of resources among vertical enterprises is analyzed by production functionmodel.
