The concept of quality of work life(QWL)put forward by the Western developedcontries in the beginning of the1960s is the product of both the industry revolution and thepursuit of human’s harmony. The study and development of this theory has impacted greatlyon theory and prctice of human resource in enterprise. And meanwhile, the development ofhuman resource also has influenced the implementaion of QWL to great extent. Therefore,the schloars and managers of human resource have been driven to focus on the study ofQWL.This dissertation firstly reviews the previous theorretical and practical study of Qualityof work lifeboth in China and abroad, and then attempts to offer an evaluation and itspossible deveolpment in the future. In the part of qualitative analysis, the paper tries tobuilds QWL model (W&POS) and gives advices of ajusting its content based on theinterviewsIn addition, the concerning hypothesis has been put foreward after the decision ofQWL evaluation index(Q20). In the part of quantitative analysis, the paper aims to workout the current QWL situation of knowledge workers in producer services field in Beijingaccording to the questionnaire. The study shows that mean comparison has gained the resultof weight of QWL dimenstion of second level and the satisfaction of QWL dimenstion ofthird level. Variance analysis examines characteristic variables of population statistics andthe impact of general difference of QWL regarding QWL dimenstion of second level andthird level. Linear analysis and the haypothesis have proved the truth of previous study.Multiple linear regression analysis indicates that QWL is a complicated synthesis resultedfrom the coopearion of linear and non-linear factors.The paper suggests the idea of improving QWL of the well-educated employees, which,as it pointed out, is not only the responsibility of the employees themselves but also theorganizations and the society.The creativity of the paper is showed on the review of the literature and theachievement of research.The process of the research goes from revolution of QWL’s development to, structureand from qualitative analysis to quantitative analysis. It targets at the interactive relation between variables in order to pursue a dynamic balance of employees QWL in their processof improving.
