Since the management guru Professor Peter Drucker come up with the"knowledge workers",this group has received more and more attention,who is considered to be the core impetus of enterprise development and the source of competitiveness.With the development of China's economy and the industries'updating,more and more people engage in high-tech enterprises and service industry,therefore,researches about knowledge workers are becoming increasingly important.Knowledge workers are those primarily engaged in headwork and creative activities,they are mainly distributed in the knowledge-intensive industries and jobs which are full of strong competition.It makes these people under a lot of pressure,which tends to produce adverse effects on them,such as poor health condition,job burnout,and so on.In 2005,Spreitzer et al,who introduced thriving from psychology into management,and defined it as "an experience of both learning and vitality in work",Great attention was drawn by the management academia.In addition,due to the characteristics of the knowledge workers with high achievement motivation,researching thriving in work for promoting positive work experience,meeting their psychological needs and healthy careers is of great significance,it is also helpful for the development of companies and the whole industry.Therefore,based on the analysis of a mass of literatures,thriving in work is selected as the dependent variable,mindfulness as the independent variable,the staff relationship quality as the mediator,then the mechanism and the relationships between the three variables are specifically analyzed.This paper totally consists of 6 parts.The first chapter mainly contains the background,significance,content and framework of the research and innovations;the second chapter is literature review,related literature materials of knowledge workers,employee relationship quality and work thriving are reviewed and combed from aspect s of concept,measurement dimensions and current research to provide theory below;the third chapter is research model and hypotheses,based on systematic review,analyzing and stating the relationships of the three variables,and proposing a research model "mindfulness-employee relationship quality-work thriving ",and related hypotheses;the fourth chapter is research design and data collection,this part mainly covers how to select three variables measurement method,and how to collect data;the fifth chapter is data analysis and hypothesis testing,this part include samples Descriptive Statistics analysis,reliability and validity test,and correlation analysis and regression analysis,and finally get the result;the sixth chapter is conclusion and management advise,this section summarizes the conclusions of the study above,and then comes up with some specific advises,finally expounding the limitations and prospects for future research.Innovations of this paper are as follows:first,the range of mindfulness research is expanded.Currently there are few domestic researches of mindfulness,and researches about mindfulness mainly focus on psychological and neurological theories and mechanisms,research objects are majorly students,athletes and people with psychological disease,knowledge workers in the workplace have not been mentioned.Through establishing the model,verifying the relationship between the three variables,widening research range of mindfulness.Second,revealing employee relationship quality as a partial mediator between mindfulness and work thriving.Current domestic studies on work thriving are mainly based on the abroad theory and review,empirical researches based on Chinese situation are relatively few.At the time of inspecting the previous conclusions,the mediating effect of employee relationship quality between mindfulness and work thriving is revealed with the method of empirical research.
