A Research Of The Urban Spatial Extension Performance Based On The Subject Value Scale

Under the background of rapid urbanization, the growth, combination and evolution ofvarious social and economic forces have affected intensely on the process of urbanspace, and then will inevitably bring about dramatic changes to urban space form.China’s urbanization process has some aggressive and uncontrolled problems, it needsguiding theories and practical tests to lead a healthy development of the city urgently.In short, the research of urban development performance from urban space respect hasboth practical guiding significance and important theoretical significance, and also hasthe possibility of technical realization simultaneously. However, by now, this researchon the performance evaluation of urban space is rare, and its system can hard to find.But "change" is not equivalent to the "development", the test standard of effectivenessof urban development is clearly rooted in the understanding of connotation of urbandevelopment. Therefore, using the trace-the-origin method to start from the essence ofurban development is suitable for the current situation and research needs at this stage.Meanwhile, the rapid-developed space technology has not only achieved a deeper andmore precise analysis of space quantification and dynamic trend, but also madequantitative evaluation which is based on dynamic space possible. Based on this, thepaper selects research of performance evaluation of urban spatial expansion as themestatement, through analyzing its connotation and theoretical foundation, around thesubject urban value to construct a comprehensive evaluation system which has thefunction of the performance evaluation and early warning, and takes therapid-expanded northwest city, Yulin, as an example, to complete instance evaluationand theoretical verification. Firstly, lay the theoretical foundation of urban spatial extension performance researchthrough in-depth understanding of the concept of urban expansion and performance.This paper regards "development","development value" and "value utility" as theessence of connotation, and subject urban value as the core and basic of evaluation,and administrative method as the key to solve complex problems. Therefore, valuecharacteristics and body value connotation become the internal theoretical basis whichcan judge evaluation content and formulate evaluation standard, humanistic ecologicalvalues can guide value ranking criterion of multi-agent evaluation system, andconstitute the main body of the performance evaluation framework according to themulti-level evaluation system of subject value measurement.Secondly, a system of urban spatial expansion performance evaluation was establishedon the foundation of the urban subject value. By analyzing the consist, formationmechanism and spatial performance of the body value for urban ecological, social andeconomic system, the content and hierarchy of the corresponding urban body valuewas obtained. And then, the ecological organization, social demand level and economicimplementation were used as the basis for the evaluation content and evaluationcriteria of the urban body performance. Moreover, the urban spatial performance wasthought been affected much by the the coordination in the urban systems. Above all, anintegrated evaluation system of urban spatial expansion performance was built on thebasis of spatial analyzing technology, including an evaluation index system formulti-body performance, a performance evaluation model for coordination of the urbanbodies, and a spatial warning system for the main development.Finally, the paper selected Yulin in Shannxi province as an example, a rapid developingmedium-sized city in Northwest China. At first, a Yulin spatial information databaseswas built using some high-resolution images in2004,2008and2012. And then, anurban spatial expansion performance evaluation for Yulin between2004and2012wasobtained according to the evaluation systems above. At last, the space and timecharacteristics of Yulin spatial expansion performance, coordinated development andwarning region changes were pointed out by analyzing the evaluation result, and somereasonable proposals were put forward to enhance the development performancestandards. The results showed that during the study period urban spatial extension performance ofyulin city has the following characteristics of time and space: First of all, from theperspective of the overall performance change, the urban performance development isa trend of rise, and the economic, ecological and social system of the performanceincrease is reduced in turn. It’s found that the performance change is negatively relatedto the intensity of spatial extension, which shows that urban expansion intensity is toobig lead to a decrease in the performance level. Otherwise, the sensitivity of theperformance changes of each system is different, the economic performance changes isbigger, the ecosystem once fell is hard to return to the highest level, while the socialsystem is relatively stable and slow response. Secondly, from the spatial characteristicsof urban spatial extension performance, performance of yulin city as "low, highinternal edge from north to south" of the basic characteristics. The ecological systemefficient space is constrained by ecological matrix, the social efficient center is locatedin the city in the northeast of the old city, and clear and efficient spheres of economicefficient spatial structure development from "two pieces of two belts" into "three twobelts" of change. At the same time, the evaluation of Yulin development and the earlywarning show that the performance has increased, while the coordination of urbandevelopment has been decline. From the point of the results of early warning, thecondition of the ecological, social, economic system is, in turn, improve, and theurban development on the ecological destruction is more serious than other systems.The innovation points of this article are on the development of the space extensionevaluation system and evaluation method. First of all, this article from the perspectiveof value philosophy connotation developed the performance evaluation system ofurban spatial extension. The evaluation system was built taking the scientific conceptof development as a theoretical basis for the guidance of evaluation standards andguidelines, and the content and the measurement of the system were constraint fromthe Angle of subject value. Secondly, this article from the subject of value connotationdeveloped the urban space extension performance evaluation method of multi-agent.Using the special information technology and the knowledge of agent value specialproperty, the article established an evaluation index system of urban special expansionperformance, which can evaluate the urban special expansion from an agent perspective and the coordination between the agents, as well as can warn the urbanspecial development problems. With the progress of spatial information technologyand the improvement of the urban space information reserve, the system can brokethrough on the limitations of traditional social and economic data and realize effectivereal-time monitoring of the urban space development and localization problem.
