In contemporary China, the study of college students’employment problem must be oriented by the Marxist and sinicizing Marxist economic employment theory, must reveal the inherent law of the economic employment theory and the development of practice in employment, must base on the practical demand of accelerate improvement in the socialist market economy and speed up transformation of the mode of economic development, must take the economics of "drug" as a treatment to the "disease" of college students’ employment in China.Employment is the livelihood projects. The employment system of college students in China has been transforming from "unified management and integrated distribution" of the planned economic system,"pumped into dispensing and grading arrangements" in the beginning of the Reformation,to "two-way choice and independent job selection" of the market economic system. The advanced education of country has already transit from elite education stage to the popular stage has led to highlight the difficulty of employment problem among college graduates and has aroused widespread concern in the community.With the Investigating and analyzing the actuality of undergraduate employment and the empirical analysis of the college graduates from such universities of different educational level as Xiamen University, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry university, Fujian University of Technology, Zhangzhou Institute of Technology and Minnan University of Science and Technology, we concluded the main reasons for the employment problem of college students, it included:Firstly, the supply and demand situation is becoming increasingly grim graduates:on the one hand, college enrollment substantially year after year which lead to a sharp increase in the number of graduates; on the other hand, economic transformation, social transformation, as a result of the international financial crisis resulted in the underpowered of market demand for graduates. Secondly, structural employment contradiction of college graduates has become increasingly prominent:Graduates flock together to the first or second-tier cities, state-owned enterprises, large enterprises to find jobs, besides, different types of college graduates has significant different employment rate. Thirdly, the majority of the employment expectations of college graduate are difficult to achieve. The gap between dreams and reality make them change jobs frequently. Fourthly, it has "being employed" phenomenon, employment statistics is an inflated figure. Meanwhile, it exists some special employment phenomenon, such as the "North drift","ant","Neet","sea to be","zero wage employment" and "Civil service".Employment is ultimately economic issues. The causes of college students’ employment from the economics, embodied in several aspects:one is the economic transformation and stimulating employment weakness. Changing the mode, structural adjustment and economic slowdown have induced structural contradiction of employment and increased employment difficulties. The second is the advanced education does not adapt to the need of economic development. The allocation of resources cannot keep pace with the leaping development, convergence of talent training model and structural reforms lag lead to imbalance in the structure of talent cultivation. Thirdly, there is a problem in the employment system and regime. Labor market "dualistic" systems segment, relevant laws and regulations are inadequate, resulting in graduates’mobility difficulties and discrimination in employment. The fourthly problems in the employment market:labor market "multi-modal overlay", market information asymmetries affect graduates employment.In view of the current university students’ employment situation and the reason of difficult employment, comparing the experiences and lessons of Japan, India, Britain and other countries to employment practice, and putting forward the economic thinking to crack the difficult employment of college students:one is the stable economic development, stimulating employment demand; the second is the implementation of innovation driven, to strengthen the momentum of employment; the third is the development of green employment, widening the employment market; the fourth is to support entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship driven employment; the fifth is to adapt to the economic development, deepening the reform of advanced education.
