Research On Growing Path For Rubber Industrial Cluster In China

Industrial cluster has become the mainstream economic phenomenon in theworld, it plays a vital role in the developing process of the worldeconomic.Cultivating the industrial cluster with regional competitive advantage tostrengthen the regional or international competitive advantage so as to promote thedevelopment and innovation of regional economy is vigorous all over the world.Rubber industry plays the important role in the developing of national economy,whilethe strength of China’s rubber industry is so weak that fall behind the developedcountries. Driving the transformation and upgrading of rubber industry in the growingway of industrial cluster has both the theoretical and practical significance tostrengthen the international competitiveness of China’s rubber industry.Taking the theory of industrial cluster growth as the breakthrough point, basedon the theory and method of economics,management and chemical engineering suchas the theory of industrial cluster, regional innovation, global value chains and so on,the paper analyzed the growing motivation and conditions of China’s rubber industrialcluster, and on the basis of reviewing the development of rubber industry, predictedthe development trend, so as to conclude that the clustering growth is the inevitablechoice for the transformation and upgrading of China’s rubber industry, and revealedthe process and space for rubber industry in China. The paper defined the connotationand characteristics of growth capacity for the rubber industry, and constructed theevaluation index system of growth capacity for the rubber industrial cluster and tookthe empirical analysis, then provided the growing path and measures for rubberindustrial cluster in China.The paper can be divided into the following parts:The first part are the introduction and theoretical research.The introductionincludes the background, purpose and significance of the research, the relatedliteratures, the main contents of research and innovations, the methods and thought; inthe part of theoretical research, defined the concepts and analyzes the theories including industrial cluster, regional innovation, global value chain, laid thefoundation for empirical research.The second part analyzed the motivation and conditions for the growth ofChina’s rubber industrial cluster. From the analysis of the theory and realitymotivation drove that the clustering growth is the inevitable choice for thetransformation and upgrading of China’s rubber industry; and pointed out theconditions in domestic to provide the evidence for selecting the growing path forrubber industrial cluster in China.The third part is empirical analysis, includes two chapters.Firstly,analyzed theprocess of China’s rubber industry, and took the grey prediction model to predict thedeveloping trend of rubber industry in China, revealed the process and space forrubber industry in China.Secondly,evaluates and analyzes the growth capacity for therubber industrial cluster, according to the connotation constructs the evaluation indexsystem, on the basis of data collected, takes the hierarchy grey correlation evaluationmethod to evaluate and analyze the growth capacity for the rubber industrial cluster,so as to provide the empirical evidence for finding out the advantages anddisadvantages of the growing path for China’s rubber industrial cluster.The fourth part is applied research, includes two chapters. Firstly, proposed thegrowing path for rubber industrial cluster in China, based on the description ofgeneral thought for constructing the growing path for rubber industrial cluster, pointedout the “dual power” growing path which included the endogenous driving andexogenous driving, namely the cluster innovation and embedding in the global valuechains.Secondly, put forward to the countermeasures and suggestions for theimplement of the growing path for rubber industrial cluster, which includesstrengthening the policy guidance and support, improving the infrastructureconstruction, enhancing the intermediary service system and promoting theconstruction of talent team.The paper drew the following conclusions: China’s rubber industry is in thecrucial period of transformation and upgrading, take the growing path of industrialcluster is the only way for China’s rubber industry. The cluster innovation andembedding in the global value chains are the strategic options for the transformationand upgrading of rubber industry, constructing the external environment is thefundamental guarantee for the growth of China’s rubber industrial cluster, whichincludes the support and guidance from government, the improvement of socialservice system, the infrastructure in cluster, the system culture, etc.
