For a long period, science, technology, education and economy cannot uniteclosely, which leads to the low efficiency of the use of innovation resource and thelack of internal force of industrial development in China. This will become the coreproblem which limits the construction of an innovation-oriented nation.Industry-university-research institute collaborative innovation, which is an effectiveway of the distribution of resource, has promoted knowledge management andinnovation, pushed country’s core competitiveness and social economic developmentand has become the key sally port of country’s innovation system construction and thefocus point to improve the country’s independent innovation capability. Knowledgeincludes explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge. Explicit knowledge can be clearlyexpressed and transferred by formal and systemic language while tacit knowledge ishidden in the organizational routines and can not be clearly expressed and transferredby formal and systemic language. Tacit knowledge is difficult to be understood andexpressed and also hard to be obtained and transferred and these traits are seen as thesource of core competitiveness of organizations. For their own interests, the subjectsare more willing to share and use tacit knowledge internally and keep it a secretexternally. In the practice of knowledge management, there still exist such problemsas insufficient awareness of the importance of tacit knowledge sharing inindustry-university-research institute collaborative innovation, inadequate activitymanagement and the lack of the method and means to share the knowledge. How torealize tacit knowledge sharing among the subjects of industry-university-researchinstitute collaborative innovation has become the practical problem that we must face.In combination with the status quo of tacit knowledge sharing inindustry-university-research institute collaborative innovation, this thesis takes industry-university-research institutions collaborative innovation as research subject,tacit knowledge as research object, tacit knowledge sharing mechanism as researchcontent and uses the industry-university theory, theory of knowledge sharing andself-organizing theory to study the tacit knowledge sharing inindustry-university-research institute collaborative innovation.First, the thesis expounds the research background and research significance ofthe tacit knowledge sharing of collaborative innovation, reviews the research statusquo, illustrates research content, research method and technical route of the thesis andalso sums up the innovations of the paper. Chapter Two introduces the relatedconcepts, such as tacit knowledge, tacit knowledge sharing and tacit knowledgesharing in industry-university-research institute collaborative innovation. At the sametime it summarizes the related theories used to analyze operating mechanism, such ascommunication, trust, incentive and self-organizing theories, which has laidtheoretical foundation for further research of the paper.Chapter Three analyzes the mechanism of tacit knowledge sharing inindustry-university-research institute collaborative innovation. It introduces theconnotation, characteristics and types of tacit knowledge ofindustry-university-research institute collaborative innovation, analyzes the subjects,motivation and the process of tacit knowledge sharing from macro, micro andorganizational levels, and provides a mathematical model of tacit knowledge sharingof collaborative innovation. On the basis of the combing of literatures and expertinterviews, Chapter Four selects the content of tacit knowledge sharing, theenvironment of industry-university-research institute collaborative innovation andinformation technology as the key influencing factors, takes the willingness to sharetacit knowledge from all subjects as medium variable, builds a concept model offactors influencing tacit knowledge sharing in industry-university-research institutecollaborative innovation and puts forward related hypotheses. By using the methodsof questionnaire and structural equation, it analyzes the key factors influencing tacitknowledge sharing. The findings from empirical study prove that the content of tacit knowledge sharing, the environment of industry-university-research institutecollaborative innovation and information technology have positive influence on thesubjects’ willingness to share tacit knowledge which further has positive influence onsubjects’ behaviors to share tacit knowledge. And the willingness to share tacitknowledge from all subjects is the medium variable. The statistics reveal that the tacitknowledge sharing should attach more importance to effective communication, theestablishment of a trust relationship and an incentive collaborative environment.These findings provide a theoretical basis for the study of theory and application ofnext step.Finally, the paper studies the communication mechanism, trust mechanism andincentive mechanism of tacit knowledge sharing by using related mechanism theories.It also studies the components, content and barriers of communication to share tacitknowledge. Based on systemic dynamics theory, it presents causality model anddynamic mechanism model of tacit knowledge sharing communication. It alsoanalyzes the paths to realize tacit knowledge sharing communication from the aspectsof cultural synergy, deep talk, learning from each other and the use of IT platform. Itbuilds a model about the function and process of trust in sharing tacit knowledge andpoints out that the match between trust subject and object is beneficial to theformation of a trust relationship and the trust relationship between individuals andorganizations is mutually improved. Based on hypercycle theory, this thesis analyzesthe hypercycle model and characteristics of the tacit knowledge sharing, and studieshypercycle subject trust, hypercycle object trust and hypercycle environment trust inthe process of sharing tacit knowledge. It also illustrates the ways to realize trustmechanism from its construction process, construction strategy and IT platform. Thenit summarizes the factors, dilemma and principles of incentive in tacit knowledgesharing. Based on the dissipative structure theory, it studies the relationship betweentacit knowledge sharing and incentive mechanism and points out that the interactionbetween law of entropy and law of management dissipation makes the incentivemechanism work. It believes that the two-dimensional space of tacit degree and knowledge utility is an important reference to the realization of incentive mechanismof the tacit knowledge sharing.From theoretical level, the research of the paper enriches the theory system oftacit knowledge sharing in industry-university-research institute collaborativeinnovation. It introduces self-organizing theory to the study of knowledge sharing,which has multiplied the research methods of knowledge management theory. Fromapplication level, it provides practical guidance to tacit knowledge sharing inindustry-university-research institute collaborative innovation.
