A Study On Chen Zheng’s Economic Thoughts

Chen Zheng is a determined contemporary Marxist, he concentrated on the study of Das Kapital and Chinese economic problems more than half a century, made creative achievements in many fields, and made outstanding contribution to the dissemination and development of Marx’s economic theory. With Marxism as guidance, Chen Zheng’s economic thought as research object, combination of history, theory and Practice as research methods, this paper strives to reproduce the complete picture and contemporary value of Chen Zheng’s economic thought by summarizing and analyzing the theoretical perspectives, ideological content and ideological characteristics in the process of Chen Zheng’s learning, research, dissemination, application and development of "Das Kapital". Then main contents of the research on Chen Zheng’s economic thought includes:by summarizing the academic career and the achievements of Chen Zheng, showing Chen Zheng’s fruitful academic achievements and outstanding contribution to "spread" the capital; Through the study of Chen Zhen’s modern scientific labor, Socialist City rental theory, and the exploration of Chen Zheng’s points in the field of "capital" and socialist market economy, the economic theory of primary stage of socialism,which fully demonstrated its theory meaning and practice value. Especially, Chen Zheng established the theoretical system of modern scientific labor and socialist city land rent, which based on studying Marx’s theory of labor value and the theory of land rent deeply. This is the great development and reinnovation of "Das Kapital" contemporary, which enriched and developed Marxism economic theories, and was instructively significant for the present economic construction, thus proved that the "Das Kapital" still has strong vitality in the contemporary era, and was significant to consolidate the guiding status of Marx’s economics in the socialist economic construction.This article believed that researching on Chen Zheng’s economic thought was guiding valuable and instructive:First, Chen Zheng is a committed Marxism economist of contemporary era, research on his economic thought is helpful to consolidate the guiding status of Marx’s economics in the socialist economic construction; Second, Chen Zheng’s economic thought is rooted in the objective reality of Chinese Reform and Opening-up, his viewpoint is academically prospective and practically significant, and is instructive to implement major principles and policies of the party and the state as well as to the current economic construction; Third, Chen Zheng is a model for the vast economists for his high sense of responsibility, rigorous practical spirit and aloft personality.
