As an important mineral resource in China, the copper is one of very important metal materials in the national economy. Our country is in an important period in the acceleration of industrialization, urbanization and informationization.More and more demand for copper resources for the national economic growth. However, domestic copper supply is far less than the copper demand, supply and demand imbalance, the gap mainly rely on foreign trade. As the world’s major natural resource are more and more being controlled by western large multinational mineral company, it is difficult to grasp the initiative for China in the negotiations with these large mineral company. Therefore, timely evaluation of the security situation of Chinese copper resources in the future, to explore sustainable development mode of China’s copper resources, is of great significance to safeguard national economic security.Based on the safety evaluation of Chinese copper resources and sustainable development as the research object model, this paper applies of various research methods. Such as comprehensive system analysis, quantitative analysis tools to establish the analysis model of Chinese copper resources sustainable development. This paper also applies of empirical research methods, statistic analysis of the prediction results and sustainable development model for empirical research.In this paper, the safety assessment method of current situation of Chinese copper resources and other aspects of research and discussion put forward DCR model to calculate the safety index. Quantitative reflects the stern situation of copper resources in china. Based on this, this paper on how to realize the sustainable development of Chinese copper resources, through the analysis of China’s copper resources demand for research and Prospect of Chinese copper resources, economic capacity and population bearing capacity, puts forward the concept of 3-D equilibrium model of development and entropy force. Through empirical research method to analyzed the sustainable development mode of Chinese copper resources. The innovation of this paper lies in the following aspects:first according to the safety evaluation method of Chinese copper resources of the DCR model is put forward. The model can calculate the long-term trend of China’s copper resources security situation. It solved the qualitative judgment to the external dependence degree only to the historical situation and the short-term trend. On the other hand is the sustainable development mode of China’s copper resources 3-D equilibrium model is put forward. In this model, system resources, environment, society each complex abstract factors in the development of entropic force. The model can clearly understand the relationship between social development, environmental impact and resource constraints, in a quantitative way reflect the interaction and balance between each system. For solving the problem of Chinese copper resources and how to realize the sustainable development is a good guide.
