Urban Development And Remaining Industrial Spaces Transformation

In recent years, the transformation of the remains of industrial space in the urban area has become a hot topic because of the rapid development and transformation of traditional industries. This paper focus in Chongqing, a city in southwest China. Try to explore the construction strategy and practice methods of the remaining industrial space in Chongqing from the architecture, urban planning, urban morphology and urban economicsThis paper introduces a point of view on urban development and other in industry, changes and find out that the transformation of urban space and traditional industrial space was not an isolated phenomenon, which has obvious relevance. We want to find out the deep relationship between them, and explore the transformation characteristics of different modes, analysis the different transformation of the mode of case.Because of its unique natural and historical environment, Chongqing is unique in the country. Historically, rivers and waterways contributed to urban industrial budding. During WWII and the three line construction, Chongqing set up modern industry, technological progress has resulted in changes in the space and layout of industry, urban culture change at the same time—each change of urban space related to the development of city. Under the current circumstances, urban development and industrial evolution have more relationships. These are involved in ecological environment of the city, the humanities spirit and so on many practical problems. After field investigation by author, we find out that these problems have not been solved very well, further more they cause current situation even worse in rapid development of the city-- especially in order to satisfy private desire, we solve a series of comprehensive problem in very simple way.In order to change this situation, the paper attempts to find some regular problems between the urban development and the remains of industrial space. By extracting the core elements of historical city, we can establish transformation strategy, which can guide the mechanism of spatial transformation and adapt to future urban development. The paper shows that only through the investigation of the historical city, people can find the future form of remaining industrial space. The future urban space must be a rich collection of human nature, it is a collective body of various elements, which include urban function, texture and density, node and image, coherence, cultural and ecological, etc. Elements factors were comprehensive consideration, we should face up to the reality, but also to respect the history, and set up the "five elements- FLICC " transformation strategy. According to this strategy, transformation should meet the complexity of urban space(Function), adjust the density and texture(Land), build the node image(Image), repair the connection(Coherence), and reshape the culture and ecology,(Culture).With the transformation strategy, we can solve the problems in Chongqing. Firstly, we set up partitions by different characteristics, enhance the diversity in urban space; secondly, the spatial density and texture are more suitable for city; to establish transformation node and image, we choose several design methods like reservation, integration, comparison and strengthen the details; based on the state-owned factory layout features, we reconstruct a new model of road; finally in order to recall cultural memory we plan to set up cultural landmarks, culture and Cultural Festival as solutions.At the end of this paper, we analysis the problem of transformation in CISC, based on the five elements of "FLICC" strategy, and hope that it can provide reference for CQIS industrial space transformation.Of course any transcendental method is not set in stone, we must cept the difference of ways of transformation and diversified results. But as long as our attitude to historicism, respect the space of common-sense principles: such as fuction, sacle,form, density;And use the system theory method, take the space as an organic combination of many elements. The urban space can continuously maintain the vitality, during development and transformation.
