Research Of Factors Impact On Development Mode In Construction Industry

The construction industry occupies an important position in the economic development of countries around the world. Since the reform and opening up, construction industry in China has achieved remarkable results, and from 1978 to 2014, the proportion of the construction industry improved from 3.8% to 7.03 % of the national economy. T he construction industry plays an irreplaceable role in supporting the national economy. However, the extensive mode of development for long-term in the development of the construction industry has been restricting the development of the construction industry. With the rapid developmen t of the construction industry, the current development is unsustainable. With the strategic decision of economic development transformation in China, changing the development mode of the construction industry is also imperative. Based on this, the research got some innovative conclusions aimed at the Chinese construction industry development mode, start ed from its influencing factors, combined the meaning and direction of the development pattern of Chinese construction industry, and defined the impact fact ors affecting development mode of construction industry, with its empirical analysis. And then, this paper put forward correspond strategy for construction industry development in order to provide the reference of theoretical guidance an d practice for the development mode of Chinese construction industry.Background and significance of the paper are described in the first part. The paper analyzed domestic and foreign research progress and results. The study of construction industry development mode is in th e exploration and discovery stage based on some theoretical points of view, and less of empirical research. Therefore, according to the reality of the development of construction industry in China, meaning and objectives of the construction industry develo pment mode is theoretical defined based on the above analysis. T he inspection of the construction industry focus on the view of three properties as economic, social and ecological. Focus on the three points of view, an empirical research was studying for the development factors influence in the construction.The second part of the paper studied the basic theory of the construction industry development mode. From multiple angles of industry, provincial, regional, building enterprise, government and society, the factors that influence development of the construction industry were analyzed. According to its similarities and differences, the elements were finally researched out by redefined, sorted out and summar ied again based on the the contents of this paper. At the same time, the concept of construction development mode had been defined, and the evolution and idea of development mode were explained in detail. The sources of ideas for the development mode of the construction industry was searched in the theories of sustainable development theory, industrial economics, growth pole theory, the modern economic development. The status of the construction development mode was carried out by mathematical measure from three properties of view as economic, social and ecological to reveal the current development status of the construction industry by the systematic way quantitative analysis based on the multiple levels of construction industry, social benefits, provincial, regional.The third part analyzed the differences of factors affecting the construction development mode. T his paper uses panel data fixed effects model and quantile regression model, in-depth analysis of the different role of different factors affecting economic development in the construction industry. The discipline and changes of the factors acting in the development process of the construction were summarized to get the results that whether the promotion of the factors of the construction industry for the defined herein to the construction developme nt was significant. The influence of construction development was different when same factor was in different quantile or deifferent factors were in the same quantile. The degree of influence varied with the development of the construction industry. The the key factors were changing at the different development stages of construction industry. By this result, the industry development strategies were more explicit to reach the factors optimal use in the construction.The fourth part of this paper sorted out the factors which significant influenced the construction development mode, and then researched the industry development mechanisms from two attributes as economic and social point respectively. Some basic conclusions were that the factor of production still had an essential role for construction industry development mode; and the construction industry structure ha d a direct impact on the construction industry development mode, and the impact force was huge; and the management level had a minimum influence in all the elements. Then, the paper constructed construction development mode based on ecological constraints. T his system, which was divided into three subsystems as economic, social and environmental resources, were simulated, which results showed that there would be different foundings in the constrution industry under four kinds of ways, as existing development mode, economic efficient development mode, ecological protection development mode and ecological-economic-social coordinated development mode. Finally, the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions were gave based on the tactics of construction industry development mode transformation.
