Based on internet platform and trend of innovation evolution, the concept of Distributed Innovation is put forward in this paper. Along with the advent of web2.0, Internet becomes a social plat-form with the masses playing as actors. The Distributed Innovation emerges consequently, which represents the latest evolution of innovation model down the open and collaborative path. Distributed Innovation is characterized by the non-organization and flexible collaboration of participants, with the advantages of enlarging source of innovation, evaluating innovation information, integrating various professionals and organizing in flexible ways. According to the concept of scientific development, Distributed Innovation on the Internet Platform will play a key role in ensuring the future high-speed growth of China’s Economy. Surrounding the innovation academics launched a large number of studies and theory about it, but there is an untouched and difficult area in researches on the Distributed innovation model under the tough technology restrictions.This paper from the succeed of Open Source software-one case of the Distributed Innovation, The open source development has attracted widespread attention and it brought new opportunity to Chinese software industry to develop the open source software on the basis of traditional software process. The main methods of traditional software process are reviewed in this paper, and the process of the open source software is studied mainly. In the light of the features of the open source software development, a model of open source software process which has four continuous and iterative development steps is proposed. Through the analysis of the traditional software process and open source software process, it is pointed out that the two should learn from each other and be integrated mutually, through the analysis of the traditional software process and open source model, study the reason of Open Source develop rapidly in the world, and use Marxism’s economic theories to explain the internal cause of Open Source.This Paper also analyzed the relationship between wiki and the development of Internet. Based on the elaboration of features, classification, and utilizing types of Wiki, the paper introduces the history and the latest development of Wiki. Emphases are put on the discussion of the application and the future of Wiki Economics. With the economic globalization, the innovation of science& technology also presents itself in globalization trend. Many multinational corporations and large enterprises actively explore and practice distributed innovation while they globalize their production activities.
