With the continuous deepening of economic globalization, the innovation of science & technology also presents itself in globalization trend. Enterprises distributed innovation(EDI) is one of the manifestations of this trend. The practice of distributed innovation(DI) has been keeping ahead the development of its theory. Many multinational companies and large enterprises actively explore and practice their R&D activities in the localization or trans-region distribution while they globalize their production activities. DI with the characters of trans-region, coinstantaneous, collaborative, cooperative and resource sharing, and with the functions that enhance corporations' adaptabilities and capabilities to meet the rapid change in the local market, strengthen corporations' sustainable competitive advantage, through network research in or between organizations, by enhancing corporations' collaborative and increasing efficiency of resource use, by increasing the market's reaction speed and by reducing R&D cost. But now there is few systematic-deeper research results at home and abroad on EDI, involving its dynamics, organizations, operating mechanism. Therefore, this study bears cutting edge research and important theoretical& practical significance as well. Through typical industry research, the empirical and case analysis, this study revealed dynamic factors of EDI, established the effect factores model and process model of EDI. This paper contains seven parts as follows:The first Chapter introduced the background and significance of the research, and summarized the current-research situation of the relative theory at home and abroad according to three aspects: the concept of DI, DI management and DI process. In the domestic researches on DI, localization of Multinational Corporations, collaborative innovation, virtual enterprises and open innovation was introduced. The chapter illustrated the content and methods of the research.The second chapter discussed separately research-related literatures, as the theoretical foundation of building research model. It recalled the theory of technological innovation, innovation networks and knowledge. Then, the process of the historical evolution of EDI was analyzed. At last, it defined the concept of EDI, and pointed out dynamic, openness, and local embeddedness and network characteristics. The third chapter studied on EDI networks and pointed out the composition of EDI networks, at the same time, analyzed the external environment of EDI networks. It described characteristics of knowledge distribution, the main mode and barriers of knowledge transfer in the EDI networks. At last the concept of EDI system was defined.The fourth chapter mainly studied on dynamic of EDI, through questionnaire survey and interviews of a number of multinational companies and large enterprises, collecting a large amount of data and carrying out factor analysis via SPSS software, it got the main dynamic factors and established the model of dynamic factors of EDI.The fifth chapter focused on the evolution process of the innovation process mode based on the literature study and theoretical analysis; put forward a sixth-generation innovation process-distributed innovation process. It discussed that the DI process is distributed dynamic network model. The process is dividing into fuzzy front-end stage, the product phase, development phase, testing phase and the commercialization stage. At last, through questionnaire survey and interviews of a number of multinational companies and large enterprises, collecting a large amount of data and carrying out factor analysis via SPSS software, found out the five factors of hindering and promoting the process of EDI, and established the factor model of the process of EDI.The sixth chapter evaluated respectively EDI capability, innovation network capacity and knowledge absorptive capacity, and then carried out correlation analysis and regression analysis according the results from capability evaluation. At the same time it researched on their correlation, it carried out binary linear regression by using Eviews software to verify that the ability of enterprise networks and enterprise knowledge absorptive capacity and enterprise branch office (R & D Center) have obvious linear relationship, and finally according to the relevance of the ability, it built the process model of EDI.The last chapter is the summary and outlook of the full test. It puts forward main innovation of this paper, and forecasts the follow-up study.
