| With the sustained high-speed development of national economy and the rapid process ofurbanization in China, the pressures of land resource, population, traffic and ecologicalenvironment are also increasing. The vehicle-lead mode of urban traffic developmentstrategy can no longer meet the sustainable development requirements in the big cities, it iswidely acknowledged by the academia and society that should perfect the public trafficsystem as the core of rail traffic. In one hand, urban rail traffic has many advantages such asmass transportation, safety, convenience, punctuality and low pollution, its advantagesdetermine the core role in urban public traffic system, and rail traffic can also change thecity develops pattern completely. In the other hand, depending on the powerful transportationability and the characteristic of space utilization, urban rail traffic has formed the strongguidance and congregation function in urban space development.In the background that contradiction between urban space and traffic development isday by day sharply, and with the opportunity that urban space development how to utilize therapid promotion of rail traffic, we all face the important subject to establish the big city spacedevelopment mode as the core of rail traffic. The research on integrity development of publicspace at subway stations is based on series of development requirements, including theintensive urban land use, the integration environment, and the compound function layout, etc.Through the research approach of system theory,this paper make the public space at subwaystation which play the role of comprehensive function carrier as the unified organism, and putit into the research frame. In the systematization research process that system deconstruction—key element analysis—frame reconstruction, carry on the overall discussion by aiming atdevelopment characteristic of public space at subway station, thus discover the problems,analyze the problems and solve the problems.This paper is divided into three parts altogether. The first part is to set up the concept,through the interpretation of urban transport development status as well as the urban spaceand profound analysis of the interaction between urban space and rail transportation, thus setup the system theoretical framework of public space at subway station on the basis of related systems concept, and construct the system theoretical foundation for further in-depth studies.The second part is mainly about cognition research. First, study the development status ofpublic space at subway station completely to find the deep-seated problems, and summarizethe overall trend of development. Second, research the subway construction on the world'sdeveloped cities, and learn from the successful experience in the public space at subwaystation, then guide the overall development of public space at subway station in our country.The third part is to set up a complete theoretical system. First of all, from urban space andurban transport two main perspective, elucidate the theoretical viewpoint that overalldevelopment of public space at subway station and the corresponding practice methods. Then,aiming at the current urban design theory and the practice characteristics, according to ourcountry conditions, propose to establish the theory and practice system of integritydevelopment on public space at subway station under the conduction of urban design with theadaptability urban design method and related design guidance. |
