Model Of The Electric Arc Furnace Electrical System, Harmonic Analysis And The Electrode Regulator System Of Adaptive Control

In his paper, the problems of mathematical model of the arc furnace electricpower system, harmonic analysis and adaptive control of arc furnace electrodecontrolling system are researched.On the physical mechanism of alternating - current arc, the circuit model ofalternating arc is put forward in this paper, and engineering estimating method of thearc parameters is given. The availability that model reflect external characteristiccurve of alternating arc is verified through simulation, and then the state equation ofarc furnace electric system is studied.The research of digital simulation of harmonic analysis is made with the realbackground of arc furnace electric system in the paper. It is made known that themodel of arc furnace electric system can reappear approximately typical harmonicof real system contrasted with measuring value. Based on that, the simulationsare engaged in effect of capacity on system harmonic, the effect of suppressedharmonic of LC passive filter and the effect of arc nonlinear on the systemcharacteristics. It is discussed in more detail on frequency method of harmonicanalysis of arc furnace electric system and on the development of simulative systemof arc ftrnace main circuit.Being aimed at a class of nonlinear system with arc furnace system, apiecewise-linear method of model reference adaptive control of some nonlinearsystems is advanced in this paper. Then it is applied in research of adaptivecontrol of three-phase arc furnace adaptive electrode regulating system. Thethree-phase arc furnace adaptive electrode regulator is designed.
