From the macro point of view, forestry is a systematicproject and organic with high syntheses and multiple functions in ecology, economy andsociety. Therefore, constructing a evaluation index system of multi-functional forest is veryimportant for realizing the unity of multi-benefit of forestry. Forestry development in Chinacannot meet the various demands from national economy and the public for its function ofecology and conservation, environment service, forest products, increasing income andcreating employment, as well as its cultural function. Synergistic development ofmulti-functional forestry not only affects permanent utilization of forest product andenvironment and sustainable development of forestry, but also affects harmonious developmentof society ecology economy. This thesis illustrates dynamic coupling among ecology, economyand social sub-system in multi-functional forestry and reveals internal orderliness of the systemand coordinative operation mechanism among sub-systems.In actual, different functions of forestry are either strong or weak, or contradict each otherin forestry development in different area which means there are some dis-synergized problemsamong each subsystem. There are few studies in analyzing such problems and seekingsolutions from the view of Synergy. It is the degree of synergy for multi-functional forestrythat is proposed in this thesis referring to theoretical analysis of synergistic developmentmechanism to multi-functional forestry. In the meantime, dynamic change state of synergydegree in multi-functional forestry in China from the year of2000to2009is quantitivelyassessed and analyzed.Synergistic development of Ecology-economy-society system in multi-functional forestrywas quantitively assessed by use of grey systemic dynamic model and different methods. Themain contents include: establishment of evaluation index system; selection of evaluationmethod and model of index for this study; illustration of metering principle and corresponding theory; assessing and quantizing synergistic development status of ecology-economy-societysystem in multi-functional forestry, and synergy and orderliness of the sub-system from theyear of2000to2009; analyzing principle factors and their influence by grey dynamic relatedmodel and initiating some suggestions and countermeasures. The results presented in this thesisare as follow:(1) Synergy degree of multi-functional forestry in China varied significantly from0to0.92in the past decade, showing an increasing trend. Currently, ecology-economy-societysystem in multi-functional forestry in China is at the development stage of normal synergy, possessing potential to shift gradually from inefficient and unbalanced status to efficient anddynamic equilibrium status.(2) It is found that orderliness of the sub-system ecology sub-system developed unstablyfrom the view of synergistic effect among sub-system of ecology, economy and society inmulti-functional forestry in China, whereas it shows an increasing trend. This indicates thateco-environment construction and ecology conservation of forestry in China are particularlyeffective. Economy sub-system developed faster and its orderliness is in increasing trend withvolatility and shall be constantly perfected in industrial structure system. Orderliness of societysub-system is increasing but is not at high level. It is found that forestry and ecology wereimproved in China while public environment consciousness is improving and public demandsto ecology culture and ecotourism are satisfied.(3) It can be easily concluded that ecology sub-system has low self-development capacity(a11=0.0101>0) through analyzing development capacity of sub-system and function in thepast10years, which is also known as self-development index, by use of grey systemicdynamic model. Economy sub-system has the highest self-development capacity (a22=0.9509).Society sub-system has higher self-development capacity (a33=0.4704). From the above resultswe can draw a conclusion that each sub-system possesses a certain degree of self-developmentcapacity.(4) Further analysis on interaction among different sub-system in the past10years showsthat ecology sub-system and economy sub-system interact each other and inhibition of economy sub-system is stronger, ecology sub-system and society sub-system promote eachother mutually and ecology sub-system promote more strongly, economy sub-system andsociety sub-system has one-way promotion which means society sub-system promoteseconomy sub-system better. There is no distinctive promotion from economy sub-system tosociety sub-system.(5) Synergistic development is the foundation for stable and sustainable development ofecology, economy and society system. Development based on forestry resource andenvironment is a kind of green development pattern for economy and society. Specificdevelopment strategies and policy proposal are provided as follow: synergistic effect shall bedeveloped to maintain the balanced development of multi-functional forestry; development ofeach sub-system shall be speeded up to promote advanced synergy; synergistic relationshipbetween individual sub-system and system shall be emphasized to allow full play to basiccapacity build of system function; synergy degree of multi-functional forestry shall bemonitored regularly for timely adjustment of working target and strategy; specific policy andmechanism on multi-functional forestry shall be perfected to promote synergistic development. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | multi-functional forestry, the degree of synergy, synergetic development, indexsystem, evaluation model | | Related items |
