Anemone flaccida Fr.Schmidt has been used for the treatment of arthralgia, headache and cold as a folk medicinal herb.By column chromatography,seventeen compounds were isolated from the EtOH extract of Anemone flaccida and elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic methods,including one new compound:oleanolic acid 3-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(6'-butyryl)28-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→4)-β-D-glucopyranosyl -(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranosyl,one new natral product:Monoethyl Malonate.And seven compounds,oleanolic acid 3-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)-α-L -arabinofurnoside,oleanolic acid 3-O-β-D-glucuronopyranose,oleanolic acid 3-O-β-D-glucuronopyranose methyl ester,oleanolic acid 28-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl (1→4)-β-D-glucopyranosyl(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranosyl and so on, were isolated from this plant for the first time.The isolated compounds were screened by antitumor bioassay.New compound(1) revealed significant antitumor activities to Hela and HL-60.Duchesnea indica(Andr.) Focke.is one of important medicinal plants used for anti-tumor,anti-bacterial,anti-inflammatory,immunity-improving.By column chromatography,ten compounds were isolated from the EtOH extract of Duchesnea indica and elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic methods,including one new compounds:2α-3β-dihydroxyurs- 12-en- 18,19-epoxy-27-oic acid,and others compounds were 2α-3α-dihydroxyurs- 12-en-27-oic acid,2α-3α-dihydroxyurs- 12-en-27 -oic acid,3-hydroxy-4-methoxy-trans-cinnacic acid,4-hydroxy-trans-cinnacic acid were isolated from this plant for the first time.
