Theoretical And Clinical Studies On Fujian Tablet Treating Different Diseases By Regulating The Homeostasis Of NEI To Intervens Syndrome Of Liver And Kidney Yin Deficiency

Objective: To investigate the microcosmic mechanism of Fujian Tablet (which is specifically formulated to"nourish liver and kidney") treating different diseases by regulating the homeostasis of NEI to intervene syndrome of liver and kidney yin deficiency. Methods: Based on the principle of"treating different diseases with the same therapy"in Traditional Chinese Medicine, we chose some patients of Alzheimer's disease and sequela of apoplexy with syndrome of liver and kidney yin deficiency in this research. We observed the intervene effect of Fujian Tablet on syndrome of liver and kidney yin deficiency and explored the microcosmic mechanism of treating different diseases with the same method of nourishing liver and kidney. The research included 3 parts: Part one, the therapeutic effect of Fujian Tablet on Alzheimer's disease by intervening syndrome of liver and kidney yin deficiency. Part two, the therapeutic effect of Fujian Tablet on sequela of apoplexy by intervening syndrome of liver and kidney yin deficiency. Part three, the microcosmic mechanism of Fujian Tablet treating different diseases by regulating the function of NEI to intervene syndrome of liver and kidney yin deficiency. Results: The patients of Alzheimer's disease and sequela of apoplexy with syndrome of liver and kidney yin deficiency had dysfunction of NEI at the same degree. For example, there were lower expression of some biological indexes, such as DA, NE, ATCH, CD4+, CD4+/CD8+, IL-2 andβ-EP. Meanwhile, the expression of CD8+and IL-6 werehigher than normal. Fujian tablet could increase the expression of DA, NE, ATCH, CD4+, CD4+/CD8+, IL-2 andβ-EP and decrease the expression of CD8+and IL-6, with the functions of enhancing immunity, promoting the secretion of neurotransmitter and adjusting endocrine system. Fujian Tablet had good therapeutic effects on both Alzheimer's disease and sequela of apoplexy by regulating the homeostasis of NEI to intervene syndrome of liver and kidney yin deficiency. Conclusions: NEI is one of the biological basis of syndrome of liver and kidney yin deficiency. Fujian Tablet can treat different diseases by regulating the function of NEI to intervene syndrome of liver and kidney yin deficiency.
