Systemic Researth For Xiao Chai Hu Tang And Its Add Or Subtract Soups About Their Law In Differentiation And Treatment

Objectivess The XiaoCaiHuTang,as one of the classic formulas,is one formula to cure six meridians syndrome,represpective of "He" method among eight methods. The decoctions are from Treatise on Cold-indced Ferible and Synopsis of Golden Chamber . Due to its ingenious making and preparing methods applicabling to disease extensive,it becomes the focus of researth, and its the amout of quantity, range studied are wide, rank the first at the formulas field. This paper we carry out a retrospective study on XiaoCaiHuTang and its add or substract .What we do in the study is to overcome the flaws of previous studies and put forward features of the formula syndrome of XiaoCaiHuTang and its add or subsract soups.Methods Our study has steps as follows,firstly,we build up a database of XiaoCaiHuTang and its add or subsract soups .In this step,the diseases which can be treated the decotion,symptoms and signs of patients and characteristics of patient's constitution are the content of the database.They are the main parameters of analysis. Secondly,statistic analysis such as frequency and others is performed. Lastly,we discuss the meaning of these results.Apart from the discussion of XiaoCaiHuTang and its add or subsract soups ,we discuss the decotions which are simlar to XiaoCaiHuTang and its add or subsract soups and some other aspects about the clinical use of XiaoCaiHuTang and its add or subsract soups also.Conclusion Comparing the results of the study and describing of Zhang Zhongjing,we find that although the spectrum of XiaoCaiHuTang and its add or subsract soups usage is enlarged in history, the basic feathures of the formula syndrome did not vary significantly. With thorough study of classic literature Chinese medicine, the mechanism of XiaoCaiHuTang and its add or subsract soups effect will be clarified in the future.
