Ci-Poetry is the typical representative of Song literature, which is graceful and restrained. This dissertation will mainly examine the evolution of the Ya-Style of Ci-Poetry during Song Dynasty. Originally, Ya-Style is the category concept of music, which is the idealization of the Confucianists, then this Ya-Style gradually permeates into the literature.The development of Song-Ci holds closely related with the flourishing of Yan music which is different from the Ya music. The naissance of Huajian Ci-poetry collection is the great evolution of the Ya-Style of Ci-Poetry. With the literary talent of poet, Huajian Ci-poetry collection aims at removing the vulgar(Su-Styel of Ci-Poetry) from Song-Ci. With the prosperous of Northern Song Dynasty, scholar-bureaucrat tried their best to remove the vulgar from Song-Ci by advocating the Ya-Style of Ci-Poetry. The contradiction between Yan Shu and Liu Yong shows the conflict between Ya-Style of Ci-Poetry and Su-Style of Ci-Poetry. Yan Shu absorbs the pabulum from Nantan Ci-poetry, which make the continuation of the Ya-Style of Ci-Poetry. Although Some of Liu Yong Ci-Poetry were Su-Style, he introduced the realm of poem into Ci-Poetry, which makes him beyond from other Ci-Poet of the same generation, and inspire many famous writers. During the late Northern Song Dynasty, the Ci-Style between famous Ci-Poet were distinct, such as Sushi and Zhoubangyan. Sushi changed the gentle and lovely style into broad minded style by directly introducing the realm of poem into Ci-Poetry. While Zhoubangyan mixed the realm of poem with the realm of Ci-Poetry, focused on moral standard and temperament. During the Southern Song Dynasty, restore of Ya-Style of Ci-Poetry were on the upsurge, Represented by XinQiji and JiangKui who inherited from Sushi and Zhoubangyan respectively.
