Study On The Scientific Management In Republic Of China

As one of the most significant aspects, the emergence, development and evolution process of the modern national enterprises hold a profound reflection of the peculiarity in the modernization of China. Enterprise management is regarded the basic system of business operation and is indispensable for the research of national enterprises. It is known to all that the management of national enterprises in early stage, with a nature of feudality and backwardness in technology, is rather primitive and brutal, so it became the objection of condemnation and hamper the development of productive forces. How to improve the management level of national enterprises is rather difficult but also a dire need to resolve for Chinese business managers and researchers.Principles of Scientific Management, which Taylor published in 1911, marked the official birth of Scientific Management, and it proposed to rely on scientific organization of labor and determine a reasonable workflow to improve productive forces under the same technical conditions. The implementation of Scientific Management gave rise to a campaign worldwide about management, and exercised deep influence for Chinese enterprises. Overall, Scientific Management not only helped to modernize the management system of Chinese enterprises, but also improved the management thought, such as the emphasis of responsibility of manager, the stress of formulation of constitution and act according the constitution and so on.This paper, with scientific management during Republic of China as the research object, is divided into a number of areas and topics, trying to investigate the occurrence and development in a disaggregated way. This paper, through showing different aspects of the development of Scientific Management during Republic of China, reveals the real environment and variation law for Scientific Management. On this basis, this paper also study the different role of participator related with Scientific Management, in the same time summarize the way of implementation and theoretical states, for the reference of contemporary society.
