This dissertation systematically study Chinese and Vietnamese language modifiers based on word order and semantic. Except for conclusion and foreword part this thesis include six chapters.Chapter1introduces the modifiers of the Chinese and Vietnamese language. We theoretically consider of the Vietnamese language modifiers, review the differences and the problems of modifiers based on Vietnamese grammarian's view, thus determining the Vietnamese modifiers. From the research results of Chinese modifier we re-recognize the attributive, the adverbial and complement of the Vietnamese and Vietnamese modifier classification.Chapter2makes analysis and comparison the differences between Chinese and Vietnamese language attributive. The description of Chinese and Vietnamese attributive composition; the semantic relationship between the Chinese attributive and the center of the Vietnamese language and the number of Chinese and Vietnamese language attributive word order is a comparative analysis; the comparison of Chinese and Vietnamese language attributive semantic point. This thesis shows the common and different characteristics between Vietnamese and Chinese attributives.Chapter3makes analysis and comparison the differences between Chinese and Vietnamese language adverbial. Describing the Chinese and Vietnamese language adverbial form; the relationship between the semantics of the adverbial with the central language of the more Chinese and more Chinese a number of adverbial word order analysis; the semantic point of comparison in Chinese and Vietnamese language adverbial; indicates the common and different characteristics between Vietnamese and Chinese adverbials.Chapter4makes analysis and comparison the differences between Chinese and Vietnamese language complements. The description of Chinese and Vietnamese complement the composition; the more Chinese language references make up the structural comparison analysis:the Vietnamese and Chinese corresponds to the Verb structure (results complement tend to complement, may complement, complement of degree, state complement momentum complement) and The more unique complement of the language structure (like the sound of complement, the ways of complement, the complement of the reasons, time complement); in Chinese and Vietnamese language complements semantic point analysis; shows the common and different characteristics between Vietnamese and Chinese complements.Chapter5discusses the similarities and differences of the Chinese modifiers. Chinese and Vietnamese languages are SVO languages, but the modifier word order of Chinese GN/AN type, modifier word order of the Vietnamese NG/NA type. However, a number of the two languages, attributive arranged in principle are the same:near the center of the descriptive language, away from the center of restrictive language.Chapter6analyzes of theoretical thinking in Vietnam sentence grammar. This project draws on the study of Chinese grammar theory and research, from the perspective of linguistic typology to examine the phenomenon of Vietnamese grammar to broaden the horizons of grammar study and improve the research methods of the Vietnamese.
