The Study On The Kernel Words In"South And North Dynasty"

During the period of the Southern and Northern Dynasties, social turbulence and national migration happened frequently. But it was an important period of the Chinese language history. In that period, the vocabulary was filled with the characteristics of the times, and literature material was relatively rich, however, the material was very complicated.So we took the measure of looking at a leopard through a bamboo tube to research the vocabulary of Southern and Northern Dynasties. We chose Song Annals,Weishu, Qiminyaoshu,Shishuoxinyu to analyze the core words of the Southern and Northern Dynasties. We mainly took the core words of Hundred Words Table to establish the relative semantic field, analyzing the evolution and development of related words in the field. At the same time, we made the combination and polymerization relationship of the core words in the Southern and Northern Dynasties clear.This thesis is about280,000words, consisting of four parts. The first chapter analyzed the backgrounds,value,significance, as well as the research methods,difficult points,innovations, and so on.In the second chapter, we mainly analyzed the core noun. We classified the59core nouns in the Hundred Words Table to six main kinds, discussing respectively. The third chapter was mainly about the verbs. We classified the core verbs in the Hundred Words Table to four main kinds. While analyzing the core nouns and core verbs, we took the relative semantic field as the basic units, examining the evolution and development of the words in relative semantic field from the perspective of both diachronically and synchronically.On the basis of finishing the fundamental work, we emphatically analyzed the core words from the lexical angle. Firstly, we made the development and evolution of Chinese core lexical meaning clear. Meanwhile, we based on the core words of the Hundred Words Table, establishing relative semantic field of English,French and German. We used the relative knowledge of cognitive linguistics,frame theory and typology to compare tr meaning of the core words in four language under the same relative semantic field. The fourth chapter, we carried on the summary of the whole to the thesis, analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of it and looking forward the afterward developing direction.Through carding and comparing the core nouns and core verbs in the Hundred Words Table systematically, we got an initial understanding to the evolution and development of Chinese core words. In the meanwhile, by using the relative theory and method of cognition and typology, we found some similarity and differences about the evolution of core lexical meaning in Chinese,English,French and German.
