Research On The Society In Song Dynasty

China had gone into full flourish in Song Dynasty and it marked the beginning of prosperity in Chinese history. All these things happened in Song Dynasty had its own background and reasons and also revealed the degree of development on some social civilization areas such as the social culture, urban life and commodity economy. From the points of view of social history and society history, the research on the Society of Song Dynasty has a profound meaning and can not be ignored .But on the contrary, what the researcher of the Chinese society history had been done was incomplete and not in its integrity.This article has collected many historical materials and divided the Society of Song Dynasty into five types, the secretive society, the religionary society, military society, economic society and culture entertainment society. And it also analysed the organization structure, membership, activity, background, social function, survival ability, social influence and impact on the following dynasties of each type of society of Song Dynasty. The article has tried to figure out historical reason the Song Dynasty became thriving and prosperous, its difference and unique characteristic from other dynasties, and to find out the development process and panorama of economic prosperity of Song Dynasty.Compared with the dynasties before the Song, the society of Song Dynasty was quite different from them with its well-developed organization, large-scale activities, far-reaching influences, and it unquestionable had created a new era at that time.Meanwhile, it also established the good foundation for the following dynasties of Yuan, Ming and Qm. It had a very importment historical position as to inherit the past and usher in the future. To sum up,the purpose of this research article is to depict the turely social life of Song Dynasty and accurately evaluate the proper position of the society of Song Dynasty in the society of Chinese history.
