Dialogue Aesthetic Ideology Of Contemporary Western Research

This dissertation is a study on the dialogue theory of modern west aesthetics. The object of this study is: Bakhtin's aesthetics, Gadamer's aesthetics, Maurice Merleau-Ponty's aesthetics, Dufrenne's aesthetics and Habermas' aesthetics. All of these aesthetics have an important characteristic that they all think the aesthetical action is an inter-subjective dialogue. Besides, they all think the aesthetical action is the essential form of being.The dissertation's first step is to define the meaning of the conception "dialogism aesthetics" and it's extension, as well as to make an introduction about the main content and the method of the study simply.The first chapter studies on the theory source of the dialogism aesthetics that mainly includes following contents: the influence of classical dialectics and modern philosophy on the dialogism aesthetics. As for the modern theory source of the dialogism aesthetics, the following must be the primary: Dilthey's hermeneutics, Husserl's phenomenology and Martin. Buber's philosophy of religion.The second chapter studies on the aesthetical subject and object theory of the dialogism aesthetics. The main contents are: the influence of the inter-subjectivity theory on the dialogism aesthetics, the aesthetical subject and object theory of dialogism aesthetics. The distinct characteristic of the dialogism aesthetics' conception about the aesthetical subject and object is to take the aesthetical subject and object as the subject and object in the aesthetical action, which emphasis on the activity of the subject and object in the aesthetical action.The third chapter studies on the aesthetical discourse theory of the dialogism aesthetics. The chapter discussion about: what is the concept of the dialogism about the essence of the aesthetical language, the relation between the aesthetical discourse and being, and the relation between the he aesthetical discourse and the praxis context, the work context and the being context. This chapter gives prominence to the ontology sense of the aesthetical discourse in the dialogism aesthetics.The fourth chapter studies on the aesthetical experience theory of the dialogism aesthetics. The discussion includes two subjects: The first is to discuss the characteristic of the aesthetical experience in the dialogism aesthetics, such as: the unity of the subject and the object, the unity of the self and the other, the unity of the aesthetical experience and the life experience. The second is to discuss the makeup of the dialogical aesthetical experience that is the relation between the aesthetical experience and the transcendental sensibility, the carnival experience, the hermeneutical experience, the communication experience. As we would know from the chapter, the main idea of the dialogism aesthetics is that the aesthetical experience is the essential experience of being.The fifth chapter studies on the meaning of the dialogism aesthetics. The dialogism upholds the viewpoint that aesthetical meaning is the production of the cooperation of the author, the work and the reader acting in the aesthetical process. So, the aesthetical meaning has three characteristics. The first is the unity of the meaning and the significance, the second is the unity of the content and the form, the third is the unity of the stability and the changeability.The last chapter discusses the significance of the dialogism to being. The dialogism aesthetics insist on the idea that the dialogical aesthetic experience has the effect to realize one's integrity. Otherwise the self would still been in the status of separation between body and spirit, sensibility and rationality, selfness and otherness or the subject and the world. The dialogism aesthetics take the dialogue as an effectual approach to realize one's integrity.The dissertation makes a conclusion from positive aspect as well as negative aspect. The dialogism aesthetics has made some profound progress in the aesthetic realm, but it is a Utopia in nature.
