In fact, its changes were small when the Beijing Opera walked out of Beijing which was The Chinese capital during Ming and Qing Dynasty. There were not a lot of local schools of the Beijing Opera because those small changes were not enough to make them become "schools". This thesis think that "The Shanghai School of Beijing Opera" should be only one that truly holds the qualification to be called "school".On the whole, basing on the qualities exhibited in the history of "The Shanghai School of Beijing Opera", we can compartmentalize four stages for the history of "The Shanghai School of Beijing Opera". They can be listed as follows: Brewing and Forming Era , Developing and Booming Era, Past Zujie Era and New Era. The first era began at 1867. In 1867, a man whose name is "luo Yiqing" built a theater which was called "Mantingfang" in Shanghai and invited players who performed Beijing Opera from Tianjin. This indicated the beginning of the Beijing Opera coming into Shanghai. Experiencing many years, at the end of the nineteenth century, An Iron Cock and so on appeared on stage of Shanghai and it indicated that the "The Shanghai School of Beijing Opera" had come into being. It is very clear that "The Shanghai School of Beijing Opera" was more strongly affected by the Occident culture in the second era. In this era "The Shanghai School of Beijing Opera" got a great development and boom. "The Zujie Era" ended in 1941, therefore bringing in the beginning of the third era. In this era, the influence of the Occident culture was declining. For many causes, "The Shanghai School of Beijing Opera" didn't quickly develop in this era. The fourth era began at 1978. After shattering "The Four Men Group", china actively practised the policy of opening to the whole world. At the same time, China worked hard to develop culture cause. Tt is very clear that "The Shanghai School of Beijing Opera" has begun a new developing era since 1978.The "Zujie" which is the name of the land that was leased by foreigner" provided a stable society condition which is an importance premise for development of "The Shanghai School Beijing Opera". Thearter's nearing to business is also an important power to drive the development of "The Shanghai School of Beijing Opera". To sum up, intercourse between Chinese traditional culture and the Occident culture in Shanghai since 1843 led art to coming near business, agora and citizen and which boosted the development of "The Shanghai School of Beijing Opera". It should be emphasized that the way of the Occident culture influencing the Beijing Opera might be direct or indirect.China orthodox Beijing Opera advocated spirit. For example, when people in Beijing enjoyed theater they emphasized hearing, especially the "lingering charm" which they felt by using their ear. This is an elegant spice. Because of the influence of the Occident culture and Chinese folk culture, "The Shanghai School of Beijing Opera" showed itself a posture that incline to fall towards popularization and the popularization brought a series of material characters for itself. Firstly, it emphasized the authenticity of art, and emphasized the relationship between the art and the existence, which made it hold the inclination to near verism. Secondly, it altered the complexion that the performance absolutely ruled the stage by using heavily scene. At the same time, it also altered the complexion that the "Singing" dominated performance by emphasizing and developing a skill for performance which is called the "Doing". Thirdly, it worked hard towards popularization. It consumedly developed "The Sitcom of Beijing Opera" which attached great importance to drama's plot. Style of its performance was glowing and ablazing. Fourthly, it made a lot of innovations which met the taste of citizen in Shanghai.
