A Study On Semantic Meaning Of Mongolian Verbs Facing Information Processing

The study on Mongolian semantic meaning has a long history. Though the study on Mongolian semantic meaning has received certain achievement, some aspects of it are not studied deeply and some aspects have not been touched. Especially, we can say that the study on Mongolian semantic meaning facing Language Information Processing is vacant. Due to the lack of the basic work related to analysis of word semantic meaning and description, and the development of semantic information processing has been very slow which bring about many obstacles to the development of Mongolian Information Processing. Many aspects of Mongolian Language Information Processing urgently need systemic explanation of Mongolian semantic characters.This thesis, from the point of language information processing, studies semantic meaning of Mongolian Verbs from semantic classification of verbs, semantic collocation between verbs and nouns, verbs' valance, and how to regulate the verbs' semantic attributes in Mongolian grammar information dictionary. The structure and content of this thesis are as follows:In the first chapter, introduces research in the past on Mongolian semantic meaning, the purpose of this subject, the theory of this subject, and the selection of materials as well.In the second chapter, it makes semantic classification of Mongolian verbs and its token set facing information processing. This chapter mainly studies the purpose and principle of semantic classification of Mongolian verbs, and specific classification of verbs.In the third chapter, mainly studies verbs' valance and its quality, indication of verbs' control ability, how to regulate verbs' valance, and collocation between quantity and quality of valance.In the fourth chapter, based on the theory of "three dimensions" mainly studies the framework, pattern , types of sentence with link-verb predicative .In the fifth chapter, discusses the theory and method used in the problem regulating verbs semantic attribute fields and its value in Mongolian grammar information dictionary.
