Recent decades, executive function has been the hot spot in the field of cognitive psychology. Executive function is considered to be a product of the coordinated operation of various processes to accomplish a particular goal in a flexible manner. The mechanism or system responsible for the coordinated operation of various processes is called executive control. Its essence is to carry through controlling and accommodating for the cognitive process, but its fundamental aim is to produce the action with harmony order and purpose.Although it has greater advanced about the research of psychology and cognitive neurosciences of executive function; there are some different views among the psychologists and the cognitive neuroscientists.In the present to offer the psychological theory basis for the teachers, the discussion of the development relation about the academic achievement and executive function are focused in the present paper.The subjects were Grade Three and Grade Five of the primary schools; Grade Two of the junior high schools; Grade Two of the senior high schools; and Grade Two of college students. We had four types of students in the terms of achievement, they were the students who studied well in both Chinese and math; who studied poorly in both Chinese and math; who studied well in Chinese while poorly in math; who studied well in math while poorly in Chinese. There were 20 subjects of each academic achievement type in each grade, and 320 subjects in all, except the college students. The 320 students were given six experiments. There were two types in 68 college students' subjects; half of them were the arts college students and half of them were the science college students.
